There is no timber used at all and the under floor has the positive floatation (closed cell) that will need to be of a standard in the future and the soft dry ride of the Hookers are second to none. The fully foam filled hulls meet survey requirements. All floors are made from a sheeted honeycomb, reducing weight, and superior in strength, will not rot and adds to positive flotation. The 5mtr pedigree is a real work horse in the commercial fishing industry. Hooker Boats are the largest supplier of commercial fishing dories along the East Coast of Queensland and there is a reason for this, rough water performance. The WRC being a walk around cabin has plenty of room for a small family to catch 40 winks after a long haul of fishing.
