1 LESSON PLAN Unit: Ultimate Frisbee Date 4/29/13 Time: 7:25-8:48 Name: Preston Ingram Lesson: 8 Block 1 No. Of students: 24 Lesson Game Play Objectives: (Expected Outcomes) The students will: 1) Be able to perform the backhand throw using the critical elements: Thumb on top, index finger on rim and all other fingers tucked underneath Coil wrist and arm across body Step forward Extend arm releasing disc with snap of wrist During practice and closing activities. 2) Be able to perform the C catch using the critical elements: Eyes follow Frisbee Form a C with thumb and fingers Track Frisbee into C Close fingers onto Frisbee During practice and closing activities. 3) Be able to perform the pancake catch using the critical elements: Eyes follow Frisbee Hands out parallel to each other, 1 top hand and 1 bottom hand National Standard(s) addressed: 1, 3 1, 3 1, 3 Evaluation of Objectives: observation) observation) observation)
