1 BOOK BUDDY HOW TO These adorable bookworms are meant to encourage our younger readers to read often & with a friend! Not everyone has someone at home to read with, but kids still need to read out loud, every day, in order to become stronger readers Select 1 large pom-pom 4 medium pom-poms & any additional beads or smaller pom-poms you d like to separate the body with. Thread a needle with 14 inches of thick thread and triple knot one end. 4 Line up the pom-poms & make a worm shape. If you have a PP tag, bowtie or bows add them to your line-up (PP tags go on the end of the tail). Thread the pom-poms & accessories onto your thread (not too loose, not too tight). 5 Once you have everything threaded, tie a double knot at the end. You can thread the needle back through the middle of the head to get a tight knot. 6 Cut the excess thread, leaving just a tiny amount to keep the knot tight. With the remaining thread, tie a triple knot and re-thread the worm a second time, starting at the opposite end you started with. Tie a double knot and cut any excess thread. Your Book Buddy should be nice and secure! Now you re ready to glue the google eyes on to the head & then you re done!
