4 Prism - descender After years of research and development and hundreds of tests, we are proud to introduce the heightec Prism and Quantum. Combining both innovation and excellence, the Prism and Quantum are designed specifically for the rope access industry. These new products do not simply meet industry standards - they surpass them. User can switch from one confi guration to the other while device is loaded: Normal Friction - will brake if the handle is released or if it is squeezed fully. Prism does not require additional friction from a second karabiner to hold higher loads. Reduced Friction - used for: ascending, paying rope in and out, or under partial load, such as when moving across a horizontal surface towards an edge prior to abseiling. 6 Twist - chest ascender X-Cam Pro X-Cam Pro is an evolution on our already successful X-Cam technology, giving a considerable improvement over traditional sharp toothed cams. Our original brief when designing the X-Cam was to create a toothed cam that caused no rope damage, is easy to disengage to remove and down-climb, and to never jam on - even when pushed hard against a knot. ca The X-cam Pro has exceptional grip on varying conditions of rope, but without rope damage and improved ability to remove ascenders from the rope after loading. 12 Rigging - rope Tectra - Rope Low stretch kernmantel rope Tectra is our new generation of static (low stretch) kernmantel ropes, made from top quality polyamide nylon yarn. The rope is specially designed to be both lightweight and to have a high breaking strength. As well as being high strength, Tectra ropes have good resistance to repeated falls.
