1 ANNOUNCEMENT DANUBIA OPEN SERIES 2015/2016 October 23 25, 2015, Miercurea Ciuc ROMANIA The Romanian Skating Federation has the honor to invite your team to participate in this competition, under the following conditions: PARTICIPATION Only registered competitors of the ISU Member are allowed to participate. AGE GROUPS and DISTANCES Individual : Ages Ladies/Men Relays Ladies / Men Senior m 500m 1000m Junior "A" age m 500m 1000m Junior "B" age m 500m 1000m Senior and Junior A + B 3000m (4 skaters) Junior "C age m 500m 1000m Junior "C"+ D 2000m (3 skaters) Junior "D" age m 500m 777m * Junior "A and Junior "B categories are out of the Danubia Series. They can take part in, but do not get points in these series. All Final System must be used and guaranteed to provide equal qualification conditions for the skaters selected to the Junior Europa Cup Final * The Danubia series competitions will not be open to the Senior (S) category. 2 COMPETITION SITE The competitions will be carried out in Vakar Lajos ice-rink, in Miercurea Ciuc, measuring 30x60 m. The compass of the track is m, according to ISU Rules with curves of 8m. During the competitions there will be 5 additional tracks with displacement of 1m each. The finish line for all distances is the same; only the starting place of the distances 1000 m and the relays will not be changed. EQUIPMENTS Only equipment, which are in accordance with the ISU rules, can be used in the competitions. The compulsory rounding of the corners of the blades will be controlled. ENTRIES The entries must be according to Danubia Open Memorandum The Entry Forms with hotel requests must reach the OC and be made electronically through the website by SEPTEMBER 24, 2015, at the latest! These entries should contain the following dates: the name of Member Association or Club the number of the team members and the list of names (full names), the date of birth. A financial statement by the respective Club/ISU Member that all costs occurred will be covered The Final Entry must reach the OC, Competitor Steward and be made electronically through the website by 18 October, ORGANIZING COMMITTEE COMPETITOR STEWARD ROMANIAN SKATING FEDERATION Mr. BODA CSABA Bld. AWARDS The first three-placed competitors of the individual competition in the overall ranking will receive medals accordingly. The skaters of the first three-placed relay teams of each category will be awarded with medals respectively. LIABILITY Each competitor participating in the competition at his/her own risk and assurance. The competition is completely open for all ISU Members.

3 HOTEL ACCOMMODATION The participating Teams are responsible for their board and lodging expenses (hotel and meals). All the booking should be made through the Organizing Committee at a very Special Price: 35 EUR/day/pers, full board in the official Hotels: MERKUR HOTEL , Miercurea Ciuc Str. Cantar Nr. 1. Jud.Harghita HOTEL SPORT , Miercurea Ciuc Str Toplita Nr. 20 Jud.Harghita If requested accommodation is also possible in Fenyo Hotel at 60 EUR/day/pers full board. T_he Organizing Committee will cover the hotel accommodation expenses for a maximum of eight (8) skaters for the following ISU Members: AUT, BUL, CRO, CZE, HUN, LAT, POL and SVK according to the agreed cross-hosting cooperation. If one of the fore mentioned members wish to enter additional National Team Members, they must respect the booking deadline and cover the additional expenses of this additional places IMPORTANT! Please indicate your intention of participation as soon as possible in order to enable us to prepare the competition in the best conditions, as well as your travel details (plane, train).
