We wish you a joyful time and will do our outmost to create a wonderful event for you. The Venue Ericsson Globe is the world s biggest spherical building and is one of Stockholm s famous landmarks. The audience capacity is 12,000, and there are two smaller connected arenas: Hovet (the Court) and Annexet (the Annex). Only a few steps from the skater s entrance to the Ericson Globe Arena you will find the official hotel, Quality Hotel Globe. Practice rink Farsta IP situated about 8 kilometers from Ericsson Globe will serve as practice rink. Kungsträdgården Opening & Draw The Official Opening & Draw will take place in the beautiful Kungsträdgården downtown Stockholm. Once registered, competitors will be restricted to official practices only. Opening & Draw April 5 (THU), 17:30 pm OPENING 18:00 pm DRAW The official draw and opening ceremony will be held in beautiful Kungsträdgården in downtown Stockholm. The opening ceremony will offer performances and entertainment from local acts and is open to the public. The ceremony is followed by the official draw, mandatory for all teams. All teams, ISU Event Officials and Judges are requested to attend the opening and draw. Transportations will be arranged from Quality Globe Hotel and from the practice rink for the teams having the latest practice slots. Detailed information regarding transportation and from Kungsträdgården will be distributed in team boxes and on info boards. The opening and draw is held outdoors so we advise everyone to dress accordingly. Warm jacket and thick cover trousers is therefore recommended as a suitable dress code for this event. Since the seating will be on benches it is a good idea to bring a shawl or scarf to sit on. ISU & Officials Dinner, by invitation only I. The ISU must approve replacement accreditations. The ISU & Officials Dinner will take place at 19:00 Thursday April 5. Since all ISU Event Officials and judges will be at the Draw & Opening in the city center transport service will be provided from Kungsträdgården 18:30 directly to the dinner. Music Music Pick up 1. After short program The team leaders are asked to pick up the music at the Information Desk at the skaters entrance 7 right after the ending of the Short Program within 1-hour period. 2. After Free Skating The team leaders are asked to pick up the music at the Information Desk at the skaters entrance 7 right after the ending of the Free Skating within 1-hour period. 6 7

5 I. Event Information Small Medal Ceremonies After Short Program Following the conclusion of the short Programs small medals will be awarded to the first, second and third teams. The small medals ceremony takes place at the Skating Market at level 4 next to the Press Conference Area. II.Arena Main Arena: Ericsson Globe, next to the Official Hotel. Practice rink: Farsta IP, 8 kilometers from the Official Hotel. II. Arena Then the draw for the starting order Free Skating will be held and followed a brief press conference for the skaters who place first, second and third. Main Arena After Free Skating The small medal ceremonies after the Free Skating will take place at the Farewell Dinner for teams and officials at the City Hall Stockholm. Entrance to Main Arena All teams, event officials, member officials and VIP will use the entrance 7 to the arena. Entrance 7 is situated only a few steps from the Quality Hotel Globe. Diplomas & Prize Money Forms Open hours Arena Entrance 7 opens 2 hours prior to the practice session/event and closes 1,5 hours after last practice session/event. All team leaders are asked to pick up the teams diplomas and the prize money forms for the top three teams of the final result on April 8 (Sun) from 08:00 12:00 in the Official Information at the Official Hotel on Lobby Floor. Official Information Official information is situated at entrance 7, skaters entrance. Operating when entrance 3 is opened. Skating lounge Access to the skating lounge is open to all accreditation card holders with the skating symbol. The lounge is open during all practices and competitions for light snacks and beverages. More information on: Warm-up Area The warm-up area in Ericsson Globe will be next to the Skating lounge in between the arenas Official Website: Physiotherapy Service In Ericsson Globe Physiotherapy will be available. Use the sign in sheet at the door of Physiotherapy room to request a treatment. Sign in 24 hours prior the treatment. 6 II. Arena Costume Repair Should costume repair be needed please contact the costume repair room in the main rink. If there is no staff in the room please contact the competition office. Water supply The tap water is Stockholm is very clean and nice to drink. In Ericsson Globe there will be water stations for skaters to fill their own bottles of water. II. Arena The water spots are next to the warm up area in Ericsson Globe. Anti-Doping Anti-Doping tests will be conducted after the Free Skating. Two (2) skaters selected from the 1st and two (2) skaters selected from the 2nd placed teams and two (2) skaters from a randomly selected team shall be tested. The skaters tested must have skated in the competition. See communication s 1922 & 2117 or later updates. Seating Areas ISU & Section A23 Member Presidents A24 Teams Section B1 B5 Lost & Found Lost and found items from skating areas in the arena will be located at the Official Information in Skaters Entrance to the Min Arena. The items will be moved from the Arena to the OC Office at the hotel on evening of Saturday, April. Competition Office Ericsson Globe April 3, Tuesday April 7, Saturday Team banners Team banners must be handed in to the Official Information at the skaters entrance in the Main Arena. The Organizing Committee will place the banners in the arena. Team banners can be picked up in the Official Information at the Hotel on Sunday 8, 08:00-11:00. Unauthorized team banners will be removed. Practice rink The practice rink Farsta IP is situated 8 kilometers from the hotel and the main arena. Transport is available. Warm Up Area practice rink The warm up area will be in a sports hall 100 meters from the ice rink. There are no dressing rooms available in the sports hall. Skaters bring their bags into the sports hall and drop them off at assigned places

The buses depart from Quality Hotel Globe. Transportation is also available in between Quality Globe Hotel and the Opening & Draw in Kungsträdgården. For ISU Event officials and judges transport will be available from Kungsträdgården to ISU and Judges Dinner. Please see transport schedules for details and times. Team rooms *From 04:30 cold breakfast will be served. Warm breakfast will be served from 05:30. **April 7 (Sat) the dinner code will be valid in the Lobby Bar on the Entrance Floor for those not attending the Closing Dinner Reception. April 8 (Sun) the lunch and dinner codes will be valid in Lobby Bar for those having later departures. Quality Hotel Globe, room Oxen/Väduren. Skytten/Vattumannen and Jungfrun/Vågen, elevator 1, 5th floor. Operating: April 4th (Wed) 08:00 AM April 7th (Sat) 12:00. Team rooms can be booked at the official information in the Official Hotel. Meals The Organizing Committee will provide and cover the expenses for rooms and meals for: The Technical Controller, Technical Specialists, Data and Replay Operators beginning with dinner on Tuesday, April 3 and ending with breakfast on Monday, April 9. The Referees and Judges beginning with lunch om Wednesday, April 4 and ending with breakfast on Monday April 9. The OAC Members beginning with lunch on Thursday, April 5 and ending with breakfast on Monday April 9. QR Code instead of meal vouchers No meal vouchers will be used. All pre- ordered meals are registered on the QR code on the accreditation card. Event Officials and Judges do not receive meal vouchers either since the meals are registered on the QR Code on the accreditation card. The QR Code must be scanned to pass to the Dining Room. For breakfast there will be no scanning, but accreditation card has to be shown. ISU & Officials Dinner The ISU & Officials Dinner will take place at 19:00 Thursday April 5. Since all ISU & Officials will be at the Draw & Opening in the city center transport service will be provided from Kungsträdgården 18:30 directly to the dinner

Organizing Committee Competitors, Team Coaches, Team Managers, Team Leaders, Team Officials, ISU Event Officials, Judges, ISU Office Holders, Member Presidents, are invited to the Closing Dinner Reception by the City of Stockholm at the City Hall, Saturday April 7, at 21:00. The dinner will take place in Blå hallen - the Blue Hall. The Blue Hall is best known as the banquet hall for the annual Nobel Banquet. By invitation only. The invitation will be given at the accreditation. Transportation service is provided to the Farewell Dinner at City Hall on Saturday April 7. Please see detailed bus schedules in team boxes and on the Information boards. Disco Quality Globe Hotel From 23:15 When returning to the hotel from the Farewell Dinner a disc jockey will be waiting for you to entertain with music and dance. Hotel check-out All telephone bills, room service charges and other personal incidental expenses must be paid before check-out. Each federation is responsible for the incidental expenses and unpaid bills of its team members. A credit card or cash deposit is required on arrival. Good to know Tourist Information Should you have time left or need to get out to see anything else than the arena, please visit for information about what is going on in Stockholm! Getting around The capital has an extensive network of subway (T-bana), commuter trains and buses. Underground station entrances are marked with a blue T on a white background. Visit for more information. Language Swedish is the official language of Sweden but many people also speak English. Time differences Sweden is part of the central European time zone CET (GMT +1). VII. Good to know Notes Electricity The voltage in Sweden is 220 V, 50 HZ. Currency & exchange The Swedish Krona (SEK) is the currency of Sweden. Coins are 1, 2, 5 and 10 and bills are 20, 50, 100, 20, 500 and 1000 SEK. Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks and official exchange offices (Forex and X-Change). Tipping Tipping is not mandatory. You only do it if you find the service and food nice, and you normally tip 10% if you have had a nice experience. Credit cards Major credit cards (some restriction may apply to American Express) are widely accepted throughout Sweden at banks, hotels, stores, restaurants, taxis, car rental companies, and for air, ship and rail tickets. In order to pay or withdraw cash with your credit card it requires that you have a card with chip and PIN (Personal Identification Number). The older magnetic-stripe cards won t work. You can get cash with your Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or Cirrus card at any Bankomat or Uttagsautomat ATM.
