Kleffman's older brother, Matt, is also a competitive ice dancer.

Both of her older brothers are also ice dancers. Ian Lorello will compete at U.S. Nationals at the senior level with partner Isabella Cannuscio. Her oldest brother, Alex, and partner Katherine Pilgrim missed this year's Sectionals due to injury. Lorello competed with her twin brother, Grant, until 2008.

With Petrov, she won the 2010 Eastern Sectional Championships and the national pewter medal at juvenile. With Dudley, she won the bronze medal at 2011 Eastern Sectionals and finished seventh at U.S. Junior Nationals (intermediate level).
