Our new Winston Energy Fly Lines were designed utilizing an entirely new scientific approach to enhance the energy transfer between fly rod and fly line. By taking precise measurements at multiple points along our fly rods in each line weight, we were able to determine the optimum taper and mass for each line size. The result is a new line series which perfectly matches the performance characteristics of today s modern fly rods to cast and fish more comfortably, as well as optimize line control, accuracy and presentation. A FLY LINE FOR EACH FLY ROD. Finding the perfect fly line for your rod is important. Did you know that many of today s fly lines are actually one half line size heavier or more than their line designation?
