When cutting plastic tube with scissors, the ends of the tube often will crimp the ends, making for an ugly finish to the tube. Using a razor blade to cut a nice clean edge can be a bit tricky too. 30 Page 30 Guinea Fowl Extra Long This Guinea Fowl is the longest we have ever found. We pack the bundle of over 40 feathers in a 5 inch long bag and often we still have to bend the tips over a bit. If you have tied with Heron substitutes like Rhea or Blue Eared Pheasant, you will quickly notice how much better the original is! Our natural Heron is the premium feathers that have been dyed over the natural chocolate colour. The dye jobs are strong, though they are covering a darker colour in most cases. This gives the feathers a natural looking transition where the bright dye colour is very evident at the base of the plume and the colour gets darker as you move up the feather. The stems are very supple and the feather quality is fantastic! Available in two sizes, Large (5-7 inches) and small (3-5 inches). Available in 14 colours.
