2 WHAT: Football Seeding and Bracket Procedures When: Sunday, November 9, 2014 Where: Fox Sports New Orleans Television Purpose: To announce the official 2014 Playoff Brackets for the Select Schools and the Non- Select Schools Time: 10:30 AM Live Broadcast Agenda Class 1A followed by Division IV Class 2A followed by Division III Class 3A followed by Division II Class 4A followed by Division I Class 5A IMPORTANT The principal s, at the 2014 Annual Meeting, voted to discontinue the Wild Card Seeding Meeting that was held on Sunday following the 10 th playing date. The official brackets will be announced live on the Fox Sports New Orleans Television Show On Sunday, November 9, The brackets will be posted on the LHSAA website following the Class and Division announcement on the air.

3 2014 Football Seeding Procedures 1. Every winning school SHALL submit their game score and results immediately following the playing of their 10 th game. (Friday games on Friday night and Saturday games immediately upon completion.) 2. Every schools season record and power rating will be posted on the LHSAA website under the sport of football by Midnight, Saturday, November 8 th. 3. Schools will have an opportunity to review their season totals and power rating until 8:00 AM, Sunday, November 9 th. 4. If a school has a dispute about their record or power rating, they must submit the dispute by to bguzzardo@lhsaa.org by the 8:00 AM deadline Sunday the 9 th. 5. After the 8:00 AM deadline, no dispute will be honored and all results SHALL be FINAL. 6. The official brackets will then be televised and announced live on Fox Sports New Orleans and place on the LHSAA website following each Class and Division Announcement. 7. The show is scheduled to air from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon prior to the Saints football game. The Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Pairings Show will broadcast live on Sunday, November 9 at 10:30 AM on the FOX Sports New Orleans main feed.

4 To: Principals, Athletic Directors and Head Football Coaches Subject: Playoff Information Entering playoff game information: Please be reminded that all home teams are responsible for inputting the game information on the playoff brackets. As soon as both schools have agreed on the terms of the game, the home team shall complete the required information on the bracket. This information is important in that it lets your fans as well as other football fans in the area aware of the game and hopefully will draw more spectators to the games. The instructions are found in the member s only site when you go to input your results. Thank you for your cooperation and have a great playoff experience. Reporting playoff results by the WINNING school: 1. Scores shall be reported immediately upon completion of the contest. 2. Scores shall be reported online: A) Login using the head football coach s user name and password B) Follow prompts as instructed C) Instructions are found in the member section in the football bracket section. 3. Failure to report the score on the night of the game or failure to report will result in the school being fined $100. Coaches and Administrators should review all bulletins in the Football Section on the LHSAA website as some timelines and reports may have changed. Bi-District winners must fill out and send in the roster form along with a team picture and team/school logo. (Follow the instructions accompanying the roster form). Rosters are due no later than Monday, November 17, Semi-Final teams must access the Team and Support Group Pass Request Forms and complete and submit to the LHSAA no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 for the Select Schools and Wednesday, December 3, 2014 for the Non-Select Schools. The passes will be issued at the Semi-Final winners meeting on Saturday, November 29, 2014 for Select Schools and Saturday, December 6, 2014 for Non-Select Schools.
