Trypanorhynch larvae drated in an ethanol series, cleared in methyl salicylate and mounted on to slides in Canada - scolex length (SL), scolex width at pars bulbosa (SW at pb), scolex width at pars bothrialis (SW at pbo), pars bothrialis (pbo), pars vaginalis (pv), pars bulbosa (pb), pars post bulbosa (ppb), bulb length (BL), bulb width (BW), bulb ratio (BR). Prebulbar organs and gland cells inside bulbs was absent. Metabasal tentacular armature poeciloacanthous atypical elements without wings was seen. Characteristic basal armature was absent. Phylum: Platyhelminthes Gegenbaur, 1859 Class: Cestoda Order: Trypanorhyncha Remarks The morphological characters and measure- specimens are in agreement with previous

Comparing the scolex meas- P. thomasi plerocerci in the present the Indian halibut ( Bloch and Sumatra, Indonesia, and P. thomasi plerocerci that Haseli et al. P. erumei mens present a wider size range than the others. However, there is a similarity in scolex shape between them. The species had the elongated, slightly acraspe- margins and deep posterior notch. Bothrial pits was absent.
