1 JW APPAREL CONTINUES TO EXPAND GALVIN GREEN EXPANDS ITS REACH ACROSS CANADA Galvin Green is the number-one selling outerwear brand in the UK and it s steadily gaining popularity across Canada. e trendy yet functional apparel line is now available in excess of 200 golf shops, including 2013 newcomers from Richmond CC in B.C., Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, St. Charles CC in Manitoba, Credit Valley G&CC in Ontario, Mount Bruno CC in Quebec and Fox Harb r and Cabot Links in Nova Scotia, to drop a few names. 3 GALVIN GREEN A DRIVING FORCE WITH RILEY WHEELDON Galvin Green Canada would like to congratulate Riley Wheeldon for earning his Web.com Tour card for 2014 by finishing No. 2 on the PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit for Wheeldon, who hails from Richmond, BC, had a terrific season playing all nine events in the inaugural season of PGA Tour Canada where he won the Syncrude Boreal Open Presented by AECON in Fort McMurray, finished third at the Times Colonist Island Savings Open and T8 at the Cape Breton Celtic Classic to round out tournaments where he finished in the top-10. He finished with earnings of $45, Wheeldon started wearing Galvin Green in 2012 and he wore it exclusively on Tour in 2013, which included an appearance in the RBC Canadian based on his play on PGA Tour Canada. I started with the rain gear in 2012 and then really liked the fit of the pants and from there I added the shirts, says Wheeldon. e rain gear is unbelievable. It s a great fit and it helps control your body temperature so you don t get too hot or too cold. He ll spend the next few months in Florida preparing for the Web.com Tour. It s going to be an impatient few months for me, but I m really looking forward to getting started in 2014 and making the most of this opportunity. I come from a fashion and business background, but golf s a true passion for me. I love the game because it s a family sport, a social opportunity, a business tool and a personal challenge in one. G/FORE gloves weren t designed in a cubicle and tested in a factory; they were born out of a desire to express myself while playing, and to help inject a little more fun and flair back into the game, he says.
