Scoring will be by IMP s converted to VP s on the WBF scale. Bidding boxes will be in use. All hands will have been dealt in advance by computer, and duplicated so that the same hands are in play at all matches. Copies of the hands will be available to competitors at the end of each session. Each team will be at home four times and away four times. The away team must take their seats first. Once they are seated, the home team take their seats. A change of partnership is not permitted during the course of a match. NIBU always play N/S in the Purple section Tables 1-6, E/W in the Green Tables CBAI always play N/S in the Green section Tables 7-12, E/W in the Purple Tables 1-6. NIBU are at home in matches II, IV, VI & VIII. CBAI are at home in matches I, III, V & VII. Thus, for the first match on Saturday afternoon, NIBU must take their seats first. SLOW PLAY The time allowed for each 10 board match is 1 hour and 20 minutes. No penalty will normally be applied for up to 5 minutes of lateness. Thereafter a slow play penalty of 1 VP for each additional 5 minutes of lateness or part thereof will be automatically applied to the table involved. This penalty will be apportioned between the two sides by the Tournament Director according to the degree of fault which he attaches to the two sides (thus, if both sides are deemed to be equally responsible the penalty will be 0.5 upon both sides if up to 5 minutes late). Additional Information: Mobile telephones are not permitted in the playing area.
