HSC ADAPTIVE SPORTS PROGRAM Through our sports and fitness programs we give both children and adults the opportunity to achieve their goals and lead independent lives. Sports and fitness programs, both competitive and recreational, teach life skills, promote confidence and develop leadership skills. HSC IVAN LENDL ADAPTIVE SPORTS CAMP The Hospital for Special Care (HSC) Ivan Lendl Adaptive Sports Camp is a day camp offered annually for youth ages 6-19 living with physical disabilities. Campers are provided instruction in a variety of adaptive sports. Specialized adaptive equipment, including sport wheelchairs allow for individualized accommodation to meet the variable levels of independence and ability. Your generous participation in the Hospital for Special Care Ivan Lendl Golf Classic allows us to bring the joy and mastery of competitive sports and therapeutic recreation to children and adults living with disabilities. More than $1.8 million has been raised in 22 years of this charity golf tournament for year-round adaptive sports and therapeutic recreation programs, making a difference in the quality of life for thousands of individuals.
