To be utilised on the following areas of expenditure relating to elite amateur golf development: - Expense Competitive Expenses 2,000 (BUCS and England Golf Order of Merit events only) Personal Golf Coaching 500 Golf Club Membership Fee Allowance 250 Personal Golf Equipment Allowance 250 Total 3,000 Eligibility Criteria The following players are entitled to apply for an annual England Golf University Scholarship to aid their continued development in elite amateur golf while completing their Higher Education studies: - a. Players that meet the criterion that satisfies the entrance requirements for representing England in amateur golf; b. Undertake a recognised programme of Higher Education at a British University or equivalent institution; c. Complete the application form in full and attach all relevant additional information as requested in a timely manner before the deadline; d. Demonstrate a high level of achievement in amateur golf at National level, evidenced by: - (i) (ii) (iii) Past achievement in the relevant England Golf Order of Merit or World Amateur Golf Rankings; Ensuring a complete and accurate handicap record of usually around +2 or better for men and scratch or better for women; Committing to a high level performance golf schedule.
