1 SALE OF CYCLING PROGRAM EXCESS ITEMS CONDITIONS OF SALE Please read in full for important information about the purchase process All items will be sold as is, with all faults, if any. No payments will be accepted before 1 July All payments and collections will need to be made after 1 July. See below for more details on payment. Inspection of items for sale will be possible at the ACTAS container at the Narrabundah Velodrome (off Goyder Street, Narrabundah) at the following times: Saturday 16 June pm Tuesday 19 June am noon Saturday 23 June pm Thursday 28 June am noon Saturday 30 June pm Sunday 1 July pm Tuesday 3 July am noon Note: on this date, in addition to purchase of any remaining items, items previously secured (to a value less than $1,000) will be able to be paid for and collected. Please refer any enquiries/requests for further information outside of these times to Siân Mulholland at sianm4@bigpond.com. Sale Procedure: All items on the list below are being offered initially to the ACT cycling community as per the process outlined below, at the prices indicated in the list. Any items remaining unsold at the end of the period outlined below will then be offered to the broader community through a variety of sale methods. After 1 July 2018 items can still be purchased at the advertised price or for a reasonable offer, but the purchaser will be competing in the open market place. The initial process for sale will be as follows:

2 Option A: Buy the item for the full advertised price. Should anyone commit to purchase any of the items for the full advertised price, the item will be reserved for that person for payment and collection after 1 July. The first person to commit to buy will have first option. If payment is not received by 9 July 2018 (for items to a value of less than $1,000) or by the date specified on the invoice (for items over $1000), and someone else has asked to purchase the item for full price, that person will be given the next option to purchase and so on. Requests to purchase at full price should be sent to Sian Mulholland at sianm4@bigpond.com, using the full description from the list below, including Asset Number where available. Please request a delivery and read receipt for your . Should more than one person commit to buy an item at full price, preference will be given in the order s were received, according to the time and date stamp on the s. Every person who commits to purchase an item at full price will have their acknowledged and be advised where their sits in the queue. Option B: Make an offer on an item Offers less than the advertised price will be taken until 1 July 2018 by to Sian Mulholland at sianm4@bigpond.com using the full description from the list below, including Asset Number where available. Please request a read receipt when you send your bid, as bids will not be otherwise acknowledged. The bidding period will end at 8.00am on Sunday 1 July No bids will be taken after this time. Any items not purchased for the full price (at any time from the posting of this list), as per Option A above, will be sold to the person making the highest offer by the end of the bidding period. Should that person not make payment by 9 July 2018 (for items to a value of less than $1,000), or by the date specified on the invoice (for items over $1000), the item will be offered to the next highest bidder, and so on until all items are sold. NOTE: The motor bike has a reserve price. Offers can be made but if the reserve price is not met, the motor bike will be advertised through other avenues. ACTAS also reserves the right to refuse an offer on any item if that offer does not reflect a realistic market value, in the opinion of ACTAS representatives. ACTAS further reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time during the sale period should that item be required for use by an ACTAS scholarship holder. The best way to ensure purchase of an item is to reserve it for purchase at the full price. Offers made during the bidding period will not be disclosed. If you make an offer, you are taking the chance that someone else will either purchase the item for full price or make a higher offer than yours.

3 Payment For all items, except the motor bike and items above $1000 value, cash will be accepted and an official receipt provided. Successful purchasers will be contacted at the end of the bidding period with further details on how to pay if they are unable to attend the velodrome on Tuesday 3 July. In the case of the motorbike and items above $1000 value, ACTAS will invoice the purchaser and, until payment in full is made, the goods will remain the property of ACTAS and will not be released to the purchaser. Invoice terms allow 30 days for payment. If payment is not received within the 30 days specified on the invoice, the sale procedure will revert to that outlined above. No credit card or EFTPOS facilities are available. Refunds will not be given on any items. Therefore, an inspection is highly recommended before committing to purchase.
