8 SailEast Scoring system explained When a Regatta consists of more than three races (e.g. Felixstowe), SailEast will take a boat's best three results from these races. Due to the automatic calculation used, the results will be shown in ascending order rather than the order in which they were achieved at the Regatta. The SailEast scoring system differs from Regatta scoring only for 'non-placed scorings' as defined in SailEast NoR & SI's paragraph 5.3 in the Handbook. In any Regatta where the Class divisions are different to those used by SailEast, SailEast will recast the results from the Regatta in to its own divisions for allocating Series points, as per NoR & SI's paragraph 4.0 in the Handbook.
