Otherwise, Competitors will be notified by RMC or by written notification. c) Provided that such a message is displayed within twenty five (25) minutes of the end of the practice sessions or race, or a message is delivered to any Competitor concerned within this time, the Driver or Drivers concerned may not leave the circuit without the consent of the Stewards The Stewards may impose any one or combination of the penalties below on any Driver involved in an Incident: a) A five second time penalty: five seconds will be added to the elapsed race time of the concerned driver provided they carry out no further pit stop before the end of the race, otherwise, in case of entering the pit lane, the driver must stop in their pit stop position for at least five seconds before re-joining the race. b) A ten second time penalty: ten seconds will be added to the elapsed race time of the concerned driver provided they carry out no further pit stop before the end of the race, otherwise, in case of entering the pit lane, the driver must stop in their pit stop position for at least ten seconds before re-joining the race. c) A drive-through penalty. The Driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race track without stopping. d) A ten second stop-and-go time penalty. The Driver must enter the pit lane, stop at their pit stop position for at least ten seconds and then re-join the race track. NOTE: In the above cases no work may be carried out on the car during the penalty period of time during a pit stop. If either of the four (4) penalties above are imposed during the last three (3) laps, or after the end of a race, Article 13.4b) below will not apply and 5 seconds will be added to the elapsed race time of the Driver concerned in the case of a) above, 10 seconds in the case of b), 30 seconds in the case of c) and 40 seconds in the case of d). e) A time penalty. f) A reprimand. g) A drop of any number of grid positions at the Driver s next race. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 6 of 26

h) Starting the next race from the pit lane. If any of the eight (8) penalties above are imposed they shall not be subject to appeal. i) Disqualification from the results. j) Suspension from the Driver s next Event. Imposition of any of these penalties does not preclude imposition of further penalty following investigation of an incident by the stewards Should the stewards decide to impose either of the penalties under Article 13.3a), b), c) or d) the following procedure will be followed: a) The stewards will give notification of the penalty which has been imposed to the Competitor concerned and, where possible, will ensure that this information is also displayed on the timing monitors. b) With the exception of Articles 13.3a) and b), from the time the stewards decision is notified the relevant Driver may cross the Line on the track no more than twice before entering the pit lane and, in the case of a penalty under Article 13.3d), must proceed to their pit bay where they shall remain for the period of the time penalty. However, unless the Driver was already in the pit entry for the purpose of serving their penalty, they may not carry out the penalty after the safety car has been deployed. The number of times the Driver crosses the Line behind the safety car will be added to the maximum number of times they may cross the Line on the track. Whilst a car is stationary in the pit lane as a result of incurring a time penalty it may not be worked on. However, if the engine stops it may be started after the time penalty period has elapsed. c) When the time penalty period has elapsed the Driver may re-join the race track. d) Any breach or failure to comply with Articles 13.4b) or c) may result in the car being disqualified from the practice session or race A Request for Investigation form as distributed by the CA may be completed by a Competitor or Driver and submitted to the CA, RD or IPO within 30 minutes of the end of a practice session or race in which an offence is alleged to have occurred. 14) PROTESTS AND APPEALS 14.1 Protests shall be made in accordance with Part XII of the NCR and accompanied by the appropriate fee set out in Appendix R of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport 14.2 Appeals shall be made in accordance with Part XIII of the NCR and accompanied by the appropriate fee set out in Appendix R of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport Appeals may not be made against any decision concerning the following: a) Penalties imposed under Articles 13.3a), b) c), d), e), f), g) or h) including those imposed during the last three laps or after the end of a race. b) Any drop of grid positions imposed under Articles 15.2 and 26.2a). c) Any penalty imposed under Article 29.4 d) Any decision taken by the stewards in relation to Article 32.7 e) Any penalty imposed under Articles 34.3 or ) SANCTIONS 15.1 The stewards may impose any penalty specifically set out in these Sporting Regulations in addition to or instead of any other penalty available to them under the Code and/or the NCR Any Driver who receives three (3) reprimands in the same Championship season will, upon the imposition of the third, be given a ten grid place penalty for the start of that Driver s next race. If the third reprimand is imposed following an Incident during the last race of an Event the ten grid place penalty will be applied for the start of the Driver s first race at the next Event. The ten grid place penalty will only be imposed if at least two of the reprimands were imposed for a driving infringement Any Competitor who is found by the stewards or any CAMS Tribunal to have breached the technical regulations may have their lease agreement revoked by CAMS and shall forfeit all fees paid and all rights under the lease agreement. 16) CHANGE OF DRIVER Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 7 of 26

16.1 Any Driver already nominated by one Competitor, who then wishes to drive for another Competitor entered in the Championship, must first satisfy CAMS that this is being done with the consent of the original Competitor. If there is no such consent CAMS will decide, at its absolute discretion, whether such a change may be made. 17) DRIVING 17.1 The Driver must drive the car alone and unaided The Driver is not permitted to participate in any additional Formula 4 practice, qualifying or race within the Event unless otherwise permitted by the CA Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the solid lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not. A Driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track. Should a car leave the track the Driver may re-join, however, this may only be done when it is safe to do so and without gaining any advantage. A Driver may not deliberately leave the track without justifiable reason More than one change of direction to defend a position is not permitted. Any Driver moving back towards the racing line, having earlier defended their position off-line, should leave at least one car width between their own car and the edge of the track on the approach to the corner Any Driver defending their position on a straight, and before any braking area, may use the full width of the track during their first move, provided no significant portion of the car attempting to pass is alongside theirs. Whilst defending in this way the Driver may not leave the track without justifiable reason. For the avoidance of doubt, if any part of the front wing of the car attempting to pass is alongside the rear wheel of the car in front this will be deemed to be a significant portion Any manoeuvre liable to hinder any other Driver, such as deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are not permitted As soon as a car is caught by another car which is about to lap it during the race the Driver must allow the faster Driver past at the first available opportunity. If the Driver who has been caught does not allow the faster Driver to pass, waved blue flags will be shown to indicate that they must allow the following Driver to overtake. 18) CAR LIVERY 18.1 Each car must carry the competition number of its Driver as published by CAMS. The number panel, if supplied, may not be modified without approval of CAMS and must be placed on the nose of the car and on each rear wing end plate which must be left clear of other identification. The competition numbers must be in full compliance with Schedule K of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport 18.2 Each Competitor must display the name of the Driver and their national flag on the bodywork, on the outside of the cockpit or on the Driver s helmet. These must be clearly legible The spaces specified in Appendix 1 below are reserved for exclusive use by CAMS for sponsors and other logos. Each Competitor must ensure that signage as specified by CAMS from time to time is placed exactly within these spaces. Failure to comply with these requirements will deem the car ineligible for competition Each car livery design must be specifically approved by CAMS to be eligible for competition Cars must not be painted in any way. Each car must use wraps or stickers. CAMS will designate sticker and wrap providers which must be used by each Competitor for their respective car s livery. 19) TESTING 19.1 CAMS will authorise six (6) pre-season test days and six (6) in season test days, to be carried out at the teams/drivers discretion. Unless given the specific prior written approval of CAMS, there shall be no testing permitted by any Driver or Competitor in any car conforming to the Formula 4 Australian Championship Technical Regulations other than those designated test days. Any Driver or Competitor found to be in breach of this regulation may be disqualified from the championship and may have their lease agreement revoked by CAMS and shall forfeit all fees paid and all rights under the lease agreement. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 8 of 26

19.2 Two new front and two new rear new dry weather tyres are permitted for each car at each test day. In addition to this, two front and two rear wet weather tyres are permitted for each car at each test day Only cars and Competitors that are the subject of a lease agreement or participation agreement with CAMS for the 2018 CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship will be permitted to participate in the designated test days unless given the specific written approval of CAMS. 20) PIT ENTRY, PIT LANE AND PIT EXIT 20.1 The section of track between the first safety car line and the beginning of the pit lane, marked by the speed restriction sign, will be designated the pit entry The section of track between the end of the pit lane, marked by the speed derestriction sign, and the second safety car line will be designated the pit exit The pit lane will be divided into two lanes, the lane closest to the pit wall will be designated the fast lane and the lane closest to the garages will be designated the inner lane. Other than when cars are at the end of the pit lane under Article 37.4, the inner lane is the only area where any work can be carried out on a car. However, no work may be carried out in the fast lane if it is likely to hinder other cars attempting to leave the pit lane Unless a car is pushed from the grid at any time during the start procedure, cars may only be driven from the Competitors designated garage area to the end of the pit lane. Any car(s) driven to the end of the pit lane prior to the start or re-start of a practice session, or any car(s) required to stop at the pit exit during a safety car period, must form up in a line in the fast lane and leave in the order they arrived unless another car is unduly delayed Any Driver that is required to start the race from the pit lane may not drive their car from their designated pit bay until the one minute signal has been given and must stop in a line in the fast lane. Under these circumstances working in the fast lane will be permitted, but any such work is restricted to: a) Starting the engine and any directly related preparation. b) The fitting or removal of permitted cooling and heating devices. c) Changes made for Driver comfort. d) Changing of wheels if there is a change of climatic conditions. When cars are permitted to leave the pit lane they must do so in the order that was established under Article 32 unless another car is unduly delayed. At all times Drivers must follow the directions of the marshals Other than drying, sweeping or any tyre rubber left when cars leave their pit stop position, Competitors may not attempt to enhance the grip of the surface in the pit lane unless a problem has been clearly identified and a solution agreed to by the RD Competitors must not paint lines on any part of the pit lane or otherwise mark their positions with tape or similar means Other than in Article 20.5 above no equipment may be taken into the fast lane. A car may enter or remain in the fast lane only with the Driver sitting in the car behind the steering wheel in their normal position even when the car is being pushed Any pressurised air bottle and associated hoses in the pits must be stowed safely and may only be brought into the pit lane immediately before they are required for work on a car and must be removed as soon as the work is complete It is the responsibility of the Competitor to release their car after a pit stop only when it is safe to do so. a) If a car is deemed to have been released in an unsafe manner or condition during any practice session, the stewards may drop the driver such number of grid positions as they consider appropriate. b) If a car is deemed to have been released in an unsafe manner or condition during a race a penalty under Article 15.3 d) will be imposed on the Driver concerned. c) An additional penalty will be imposed on any Driver who, in the opinion of the stewards, continues to drive a car knowing it to have been released in an unsafe condition. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 9 of 26

20.11 Starting an engine with an external device will be considered working on the car, consequently this will not be permitted in the fast lane of the pits except under Article Cars may not enter the fast lane of the pits until the pit exit is opened at the start or re-start of each free practice or qualifying practice session. Furthermore, no car may be moved to a position in the slow lane which is closer to the pit exit than the garage which has been assigned to that car Under exceptional circumstances the RD may ask for the pit entry to be closed during the race for safety reasons. At such times Drivers may only enter the pit lane in order for essential and entirely evident repairs to be carried out to the car. 21) SCRUTINY AND SPORTING CHECKS 21.1 Each entry must be received on the Series Entry form provided by CAMS. Each Driver must provide evidence of a current CAMS Circuit Racing License (minimum PC level) and a current membership of a CAMS affiliated club or licence issued by another ASN and associated permission to compete During initial Scrutiny, and at any time during the Event, each Competitor must have available all documents required by Article 21.1 above in addition to the car's log book Competition numbers and any official advertising must be on the car for inspection during Scrutiny No car may take part in the Event until it has been approved by the scrutineers The scrutineers and the TD may: a) Check the eligibility of a car or of a Competitor at any time during the Event. b) Require a car to be dismantled by the Competitor to make sure that the conditions of eligibility or conformity are fully satisfied. c) Require a Competitor to pay the reasonable expenses which exercise of the powers mentioned in this Article may entail. d) Require a Competitor to supply them with such parts or samples as they may deem necessary. e) Require a Competitor to replace a "controlled item" (for example ECU) with one provided by CAMS, at any time prior to the car entering the track for competition Any car which, after being approved by the scrutineers, is dismantled or modified in a way which might affect its safety or call into question its eligibility, or which is involved in an accident with similar consequences, must be re-presented for approval by the scrutineers The RD or clerk of the course may require that any car involved in an accident be stopped and checked by the scrutineers After each race and qualifying practice session at least five (5) classified cars may be selected to attend the parc fermé and undergo complete scrutiny Checks and scrutiny shall be carried out by duly appointed officials who shall be responsible for the operation of the parc fermé and who alone are authorised to give instructions to a Competitor A tutoring service for drivers performed by instructors designated by CAMS shall be put in place. Each Competitor must allow data and video selected by instructors appointed by CAMS to be used to assist with drivers tutoring. 22) TYRES 22.1 Tyres may be transported from one Event to another provided they were allocated to that car by the appointed supplier at a previous Event of the Championship. For the first Event, previously used test tyres may be transported Any modification or treatment including cutting, grooving, and the application of water, solvents or softeners, the use of heat retaining (and/or cooling) devices or pre heating/cooling is prohibited. This applies to both wet-weather and dry-weather tyres. In order to ensure that a tyre has not been treated or modified samples may be taken from the tyre tread for analysis and comparison with a tyre taken directly from the supplier s stock During each Event each car may use no more than: a) Two front and two rear used dry-weather tyres for the entirety of the two free practice sessions. In this context a tyre will be considered used if it was allocated, and marked, to the same car at a previous Event, whether or not it was used on the track. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 10 of 26

At the first Event of the Championship, or at the first Event for an additional car, each car may use new tyres or previously used tyres from a CAMS nominated test day. b) Two front and two rear new dry-weather tyres for the entirety of the qualifying and the races. c) Two front and two rear wet-weather tyres. d) If a tyre is damaged either during qualifying or a race, then it may be replaced with a previously used tyre only at the discretion of the TD. If two or more tyres are required to be replaced, a rear of grid penalty will be applied. At their absolute discretion the Chief Scrutineer or TD may enforce a method of sealing all wet-weather tyres between Events With the exception of the races, wet-weather tyres may only be used after the track has been declared wet by the RD, following which wet or dry weather tyres may be used for the remainder of the relevant session Each tyre must be marked and recorded by the TD, or their delegate, prior to the commencement of Qualifying at each Event. It is the responsibility of each Competitor to ensure each tyre is correctly marked and recorded for each of their cars. Any tyre that is not marked and/or recoded will be investigated by the TD, and any non-compliance may result in a penalty up to disqualification Each tyre, when under the control of a team, must remain visible within the teams designated garage area at all times. At their absolute discretion the Chief Scrutineer or TD may enforce parc fermé conditions on tyres at any time Each tyre must only be inflated with air or nitrogen. 23) WEIGHING 23.1 The minimum weight for the car must be no less than 550kg. The minimum Racing Weight must be no less than 630kg a) During each qualifying practice session any car may be weighed as follows: i. At the pit entrance (or any other location nominated by the TD) the organiser will provide a flat horizontal surface measuring 6m x 3m, this area will be used for the weighing procedure. After qualifying practice the weight of any car may also be checked in parc fermé. ii. Cars will be selected at random to undergo the weighing procedure. The TD will inform the Driver that their car has been selected for weighing. iii. Having been signalled that their car has been selected for weighing, the Driver will proceed directly to the weighing area and stop the engine. iv. The car will then be weighed and if requested by the Driver, the results will be provided in writing. v. If the car is unable to reach the weighing area under its own power it will be placed under the exclusive control of the marshals who will take the car to be weighed. vi. A car or Driver may not leave the weighing area without the consent of the TD. vii. If a car stops on the circuit and the Driver leaves the car, they must go to the weighing area immediately on their return to the pits in order for their weight to be established. b) After the race each car crossing the Line may be weighed. If a driver wishes to leave their car before it is weighed they must ask the TD to weigh him in order that this weight may be added to that of the car. The TD will tell the driver their weight and, once the driver leaves parc fermé, this will be deemed implicit acceptance of the figure. c) The relevant car may be disqualified from the relevant session should its weight be less than that specified in the Championship Technical Regulations when weighed under a) or b) above, save where the deficiency in weight results from the accidental loss of a component of the car. d) No solid, liquid, gas or other substance or matter of whatsoever nature may be added to, placed on, or removed from a car after it has been selected for weighing or before it has finished the post-race scrutiny or during the weighing procedure. (Except by a scrutineer when acting in their official capacity). e) Only scrutineers and officials including the TD may enter the weighing area. No intervention of any kind is allowed there unless authorized by such officials. A single person per car nominated by the team shall be permitted in the weighing area and/or parc ferme once advised by the officials and/or the TD. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 11 of 26

23.2 In the event of any breach of these provisions for the weighing of cars the stewards may penalise the Driver such number of grid positions as they consider appropriate or disqualify them from the relevant competition. 24) GENERAL CAR REQUIREMENTS 24.1 Only chassis, gearboxes and engine installation kits complying entirely with the following Homologations including any relevant Erratum and/or Variant Option issued by the FIA may be used during official test days and events. Each rolling chassis supplied by the appointed car manufacturer shall be the subject of a CAMS log book and a lease agreement with CAMS (if applicable). Once supplied, the rolling chassis may not be modified in any way whatsoever except where specifically permitted by the Championship Technical Regulations or with the written permission of CAMS after consultation with the manufacturer. Any such modifications will only be permitted if they are deemed absolutely necessary after a problem has been clearly identified. Chassis Homologation No: Gearbox Homologation No: Engine installation kit Homologation No: F4-Mygale F4-Sadev F4-Ford 24.2 Only gearbox ratios as listed in Article T16.03 of the Championship Technical Regulations shall be used Only the front wing assembly as listed in Article T5.05(c) of the Championship Technical Regulations shall be used The approved Accident Data Recorder (ADR) must be fitted to the car and be in working order at all times during each Event and test session No signal of any kind may pass between a moving car and anyone connected with the car s Competitor or Driver save for lap timing purposes, legible messages on a pit board, body movement by the Driver and verbal communication between a Driver and their team by radio Each Competitor must install and maintain in working order (image, data recording and logging) an incident camera on the side of the main roll bar of each of their cars in accordance with instructions from CAMS. Nothing may obstruct the camera picture and it is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure the functionality of the camera system at all times. The camera must be operating at all times that the car is on the race track and it is the Competitor s responsibility to ensure that the SD card is installed at these times. Any vision from the incident camera is NOT permitted to be used for public viewing without the approval of the CA Access to the data on the SD card must be given to the RD, DSA, IPO and stewards on request. Failure to comply with the above requirements will be reported to the stewards Wind tunnel testing ban: Wind Tunnel Testing is the testing by a Team or any related party of that Team, or any agent or sub-contractor of the Team or any of its related parties, in a test environment of a representation of an F4 car or subcomponent in order to measure, observe or infer any forces, displacements, pressures or air flow direction resulting directly or indirectly from the incident air flow. Any wind tunnel testing is forbidden. This also applies for wind tunnel testing using a scale model of a F4 car or subcomponent. It is forbidden to use any results from wind tunnel testing obtained by a Team or any related party of that Team, or any agent or sub-contractor of the Team, any of its related parties or any other third party other than the wind tunnel testing results supplied by the rolling chassis manufacturer Aerodynamic data: No rolling chassis may be used in the Championship unless the company supplying such rolling chassis accepts and adheres to the following conditions. The following aerodynamic data must be made available for the competitors using the rolling chassis by the respective rolling chassis manufacturer: Downforce (SCz), Drag (SCx) and Balance (%F) as percentage offset from a baseline setup for the following parameters: - Ride height - Front wing - Front wing gurney Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 12 of 26

- Rear wing (upper and lower) 25) SPARE CARS 25.1 A spare car is not permitted after the conclusion of Qualifying at any Event. However any part of the car (excluding the survival cell) may be changed at any time during the Event. No Driver may use more than one car at the same Event, unless granted permission by the CA and stewards under exceptional circumstances. After initial Scrutiny the survival cell may not be changed during the remainder of the Event The decision whether a car has been repaired or changed will be taken by the stewards based upon a report by the TD in consultation with the CA Any car which has passed initial scrutiny may not be removed from the confines of the prescribed garage other than for competition during the remainder of the Event unless with the specific written approval of the TD. 26) ENGINES 26.1 The only engine permitted is one supplied by the appointed supplier. Once supplied, the engine may not be modified in any way whatsoever except where specifically permitted by the Championship Technical Regulations or with the written permission of CAMS after consultation with the supplier. Any such modifications will only be permitted if they are deemed absolutely necessary after a problem has been clearly identified a) Each Driver may use no more than one engine from the commencement of the first practice session of the first Event of the Championship season for the entire Championship including all Events and designated tests within the Championship season in which their team competes. Should a Driver use a replacement engine they will drop ten places on the starting grid for the next three (3) races they compete in. If at the sole discretion of the TD the engine replacement is required as a consequence of a technical failure then a Driver may be exempt from this penalty. b) If a Driver is replaced at any point during the Championship the replacement Driver must use the engine which the original Driver had been using An engine will be deemed to have been used once the car s timing transponder has shown that it has left the pit lane or the designated marshalling area After consultation with the relevant engine supplier CAMS will attach seals to each engine prior to it being used for the first time at an Event in order to ensure that no significant moving parts can be rebuilt or replaced Other than the straightforward replacement of one engine unit with another, a change will also be deemed to have taken place if any seal is damaged or removed from the original engine after it has been used for the first time in any Event or test unless the removal of the seal is permitted by the TD for the purpose of inspection of a component or to undertake a repair authorised by the TD. 27) FUEL, FUEL SAMPLING AND REFUELLING 27.1 Only fuel provided at the Event by the appointed supplier may be used throughout the Event It must be possible to take a 1.0kg sample of fuel from a car at any time during the Event Each car must be fitted with a self-sealing FIA approved connector which can be used by the scrutineers to take a fuel sample from the tank. Each Competitor must also provide a fuel line approximately 1.5m long, with a tap, which can be used to transfer the samples into the sampling vessels Refuelling must be done in accordance with Schedule N of the CAMS Manual Refuelling, or removal of fuel, is not permitted: a) During any qualifying practice session. b) Between qualifying practice sessions if the interval between them is 15 minutes or less. c) During a race d) At any time prior to the completion of post-qualifying or post-race Scrutiny. Refuelling in the pits is only permitted using equipment complying with Schedule N of the CAMS Manual Fuel testing will be conducted in accordance with Schedule G of the CAMS Manual. 14 28) GENERAL SAFETY 28.1 Official instructions will be given to Drivers by means of the signals laid out in the Code. A Competitor must not use any flag or light similar in any way whatsoever to these Each Driver is strictly forbidden to drive their car in the opposite direction to the race unless this is absolutely necessary in order to move the car from a dangerous position. A car may only be pushed to remove it from a dangerous position as directed by the marshals Any Driver intending to leave the track or to go to their pit or the paddock area must signal their intention to do so in good time making sure that they can do this without danger During practice, qualifying and the race, each Driver may use only the track and must at all times observe the provisions of the Code and the NCR relating to driving behaviour on circuits Other than by driving on the track, a Competitor is not permitted to attempt to alter the grip of any part of the track surface If a car stops on the track it shall be the duty of the marshals to remove it as quickly as possible so that its presence does not constitute a danger or hinder other Drivers. If any mechanical assistance received during the race results in the car re-joining the stewards may disqualify it from the race (other than under Articles 28.14(d) or 37.3 or 37.4) A Driver who abandons their car must leave it in neutral or with the clutch disengaged and with the steering wheel in place Repairs to a car may be carried out only in the paddock, pits and on the grid Each Competitor shall ensure that fire extinguishers of a minimum capacity of a single 9kg or two 4.5kg in compliance with Schedule N of the CAMS Manual are available at each pit or garage The replenishment of any liquids is forbidden following the start of the race until after post-race Scrutiny. Any orifice for oil filling must be designed in such a way that the scrutineers can seal them Save as specifically authorised by the Code, the NCR or these Sporting Regulations, no one except the Driver may touch a stopped car unless it is in the paddock, the Competitors designated garage area, the pit lane or on the starting grid At no time may a car be reversed in the pit lane under its own power At no time may a car be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner which could be deemed potentially dangerous to other Drivers or any other person. This will apply whether any such car is being driven on the track, the pit entry, the pit lane, the pit exit or the paddock area During the periods commencing five minutes prior to and ending five minutes after each practice session and the periods between the commencement of the formation lap which immediately precedes each race and the time when the last car enters the parc fermé, no one is allowed on the track, the pit entry or the pit exit with the exception of: a) Marshals or other authorised personnel in the execution of their duty. b) Drivers when driving or on foot, having first received permission to do so from a marshal. c) Team personnel when assisting marshals to remove a car from the grid after the start of the formation lap or the race. d) Team personnel working on a car on the grid during a race suspension in accordance with Article During each race, the engine may only be started with the on-board starter except: a) In the pit lane or the Competitors designated garage area where the use of an external starting device is allowed, Each Driver taking part in each practice session and race must always wear apparel in accordance with Chapter III of Appendix L to the Code. Drivers Safety Kit is detailed in Appendix 3 of these regulations A speed limit of 40km/h will be enforced in the pit lane. Penalties for speeding in pit lane will be imposed in accordance with the Race Meeting Standing Regulations If a Driver has serious mechanical difficulties during a practice session or race they must leave the track as soon as it is safe to do so The car's rear lights must be illuminated at all times whenever they are running on wet-weather tyres. It shall be at the discretion of the RD to decide if a Driver should be stopped because their rear light is not working. Should a car be stopped in this way it may re-join when the fault has been remedied. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 14 of 26

28.20 Only two team members per participating car (whom shall have been issued with and wearing relevant Event accreditation) is allowed in the signalling area during practice and the race People under 16 years of age are not allowed in the pit lane unless they are a Driver in that session Animals, except those which may have been expressly authorised by the Organisers for use by security services, are forbidden within the circuit precinct The RD, the clerk of the course or the chief medical officer can require a Driver to have a medical examination at any time during an Event, this medical examination may include an anti-doping test (ISC Appendix L) Failure to comply with the general safety requirements of the Code, the NCR or these Sporting Regulations may result in the disqualification of the car and Driver concerned from the Event. 29) PRACTICE SESSIONS 29.1 Save where these Sporting Regulations require otherwise, pit lane and track discipline and safety measures will be the same for each practice session as for the race No Driver may start in a race without taking part in at least one practice session. The stewards may consider applications to waive this requirement in mitigating circumstances During each practice session there will be a green and a red light and/ or flag at the end of the pit lane. Cars may only leave the pit lane when the green signal is on. Additionally, a blue flag will be shown in the vicinity of the pit exit to warn a Driver leaving the pit lane if cars are approaching on the track. A flashing blue light may supplement the blue flag In the event of a driving infringement during any practice session the stewards may delete a Driver s lap time, drop the Driver such number of grid positions as they consider appropriate or decree that the Driver must start their next race from the pit lane. Unless it is completely clear that a Driver committed a driving infringement any such incident will normally be investigated after the relevant session. Where appropriate, regard will also be given to the provisions of Article Any Driver taking part in any practice session who, in the opinion of the stewards, stops unnecessarily on the circuit or unnecessarily impedes another Driver shall be subject to the penalties referred to in Article Should it become necessary to stop any practice session because the circuit is blocked by an accident or because weather or other conditions make it dangerous to continue, the clerk of the course will order red flags to be shown at all marshal posts. When the signal is given to stop, all cars shall immediately reduce speed and proceed slowly back to the pit lane, and all cars abandoned on the track will be removed to a safe place At the end of each practice session no Driver may cross the Line more than once unless specified at the Drivers meeting The clerk of the course may interrupt practice as often and for as long as they think necessary to clear the track or to allow the recovery of a car. Should one or more sessions be thus interrupted, no protest can be accepted as to the possible effects of the interruption on the qualification of Drivers admitted to start. 30) FREE PRACTICE SESSIONS 30.1 Practice sessions of a total of at least 20 minutes and of no more than 45 minutes duration will generally take place on the first day of the Event. 31) QUALIFYING PRACTICE SESSIONS 31.1 One qualifying practice sessions of at least 20 minutes and of no more than 30 minutes duration will take place generally on the first or second day of the Event Each Driver must take part in a practice and/or qualifying practice session. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the event. 32) THE GRID 32.1 At the end of the qualifying practice session the fastest lap time achieved by each Driver will be officially published. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 15 of 26

32.2 At an Event with three (3) races the grid for the first race will be drawn up in the order of the fastest qualifying lap time achieved by each Driver in the qualifying practice session and the grid for the third race will be drawn up in the order of the second fastest qualifying lap time achieved by each Driver in the qualifying practice session. The grid for the second race at each round of the Championship will be determined as follows: a) Where there are fifteen (15) starters or more, the order of the top ten (10) finishers from race 1 will be reversed. Cars finishing 11 th position onwards will start in their finishing position from race 1. b) Where there are eleven (11) to fourteen (14) starters, the order of the top five (5) of the finishers from race 1 or the top 50% of the finishers from race 1, whichever is greater, will be reversed. The remainder of the field will start in their finishing position from race 1. c) Where there are ten (10) starters or less, the order of the top five (5) finishers from race 1 will be reversed. The remainder of the field will start in their finishing position from race At an Event with two races the grid for the first race will be drawn up in the order of the fastest qualifying lap time achieved by each Driver in the qualifying practice session and the grid for the second race will be drawn up in the order of the second fastest qualifying lap time achieved by each Driver in the qualifying practice session Any Driver who is unable to start for any reason whatsoever must inform the stewards at the earliest opportunity and in any case, no later than forty five minutes before the start of the formation lap If one or more cars are withdrawn, the starting grid will be closed up accordingly and the final starting grid confirmed 30 minutes before the start of the formation lap Should two or more Drivers have identical fastest or second fastest qualifying lap times, priority will be given to the Driver who set it first Any Driver whose fastest qualifying lap time exceeds 110% of the fastest lap time in the qualifying practice session will not be allowed to take part in the race. Under exceptional circumstances however, which may include setting a suitable lap time in a previous free practice session, upon request the stewards may permit the car to start the race. Any Driver accepted in this manner will be placed at the back of the grid after any other penalties have been applied. Should there be more than one Driver accepted in this manner, their grid order will be determined by the stewards. 33) MEETINGS 33.1 A meeting chaired by the RD will take place prior to the first practice session at each Event at a location to be advised, each Driver entered for the Event and their team manager must be present for the entirety of the meeting. Any other meeting may be scheduled at the discretion of the CA or RD. 34) STARTING PROCEDURE 34.1 The start procedure for each race will be a Non-Championship standing start as defined in the CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations If after returning to the grid at the end of the formation lap a problem arises, the following procedures will apply: a) If a car develops a problem that could endanger the start the Driver must immediately raise their hands above their head and the marshal responsible for that grid row must immediately wave a yellow flag. If the RD decides the start should be aborted the green lights will be illuminated two seconds after the abort lights are switched on, a board displaying EXTRA FORMATION LAP will be displayed and all cars able to do so must complete a further formation lap whilst the car that developed the developed the problem is moved into pit lane. When leaving the grid to complete the extra formation lap all Drivers must respect the pit lane speed limit until they pass pole position. The team may then attempt to rectify the problem and, if successful, the car may then start from the end of the pit lane. Should there be more than one car involved their starting order will be determined by the order in which they reach the end of the pit lane. b) Any Driver who caused the start to be aborted and is then able to start the extra formation lap must enter the pit lane at the end of the lap and start the race from the end of the pit lane. A penalty under Article 13.3 c) will be imposed on any such Driver who fails to start the race from the pit lane. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 16 of 26

34.3 Unless specifically authorised by the RD, during the start of a race the pit wall must be kept free of all persons with the exception of necessary officials and broadcast crew Either of the penalties under Articles 13.3a), b) or c) will be imposed for a false start. 35) RACES 35.1 During a race, a Driver leaving the pit lane may only do so when the pit lane is open (or green light is shown) and on their own responsibility. A marshal with a blue flag will also warn the Driver if cars are approaching on the track. 36) SAFETY CAR 36.1 The safety car will be driven by a CAMS approved driver and will carry a CAMS approved observer, capable of recognising each competing car, who is in permanent radio contact with race control The safety car may be brought into operation to neutralise a race upon the order of the RD. It will be used only if Drivers or officials are in immediate physical danger but the circumstances are not such as to necessitate suspending the race When the order is given to deploy the safety car the message "SAFETY CAR DEPLOYED" will, where possible, be displayed on the timing monitors and each marshal's post will display a waved yellow flag and "SC" board for the duration of the intervention No car may be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner which could be deemed potentially dangerous to other Drivers or any other person at any time whilst the safety car is deployed. This will apply whether any such car is being driven on the track, the pit entry, the pit exit or the pit lane The safety car will join the track with its orange lights illuminated and may do so regardless of where the race leader is Each competing car must reduce speed and form up in line behind the safety car no more than five car lengths apart With the exception of the cases listed under a) to h) below, no Driver may overtake another car on the track, including the safety car, in accordance with the Race Meeting Standing Regulations. The exceptions are: a) When a Driver is signalled to do so from the safety car. b) Under Article below. c) When entering the pits a Driver may pass another car remaining on the track, including the safety car, after they have reached the first safety car line. d) When leaving the pits a Driver may overtake, or be overtaken by, another car on the track before they reach the second safety car line. e) When the safety car is returning to the pits it may be overtaken by any car on the track once it has reached the first safety car line. f) Whilst in the pit entry, pit lane or pit exit a Driver may overtake another car which is also in one of these three areas. g) Any car stopping in its designated pit bay whilst the safety car is using the pit lane (see Article below) may be overtaken. h) If any car slows with an obvious problem When ordered to do so by the RD the observer in the safety car will use a green light to signal to any car between it and the race leader that they should pass. Any such car will continue at reduced speed and without overtaking until it reaches the line of cars behind the safety car The safety car shall be used at least until the leader is behind it and all remaining cars are lined up behind him. Once behind the safety car, the race leader must keep within five car lengths of it (except under Article below) Under certain circumstances the clerk of the course may ask the safety car to use the pit lane. In these cases, and provided its orange lights remain illuminated, all cars must follow it into the pit lane without overtaking. Any car entering the pit lane under these circumstances may stop at its designated pit bay When the RD decides it is safe to call in the safety car the message "SAFETY CAR IN THIS LAP" will, where possible, be displayed on the timing monitors and the car's orange lights will be extinguished This will be the signal to the teams and Drivers that it will be entering the pit lane at the end of that lap. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 17 of 26

At this point the safety car will accelerate away from the field and the first car in line behind the safety car must maintain the speed of the safety car when the lights were extinguished. In order to avoid the likelihood of accidents before the safety car returns to the pits, from the point at which the lights on the safety car are extinguished Drivers must proceed without erratic acceleration or braking nor any other manoeuvre which is likely to endanger other Drivers or impede the restart. As the safety car is approaching the pit entry the yellow flags and SC boards will be withdrawn and, other than on the last lap of the race, replaced by waved green flags. At this point the leader will dictate the pace and may maintain speed or accelerate but not decelerate Each lap completed while the safety car is deployed will be counted as a race lap If the safety car is still deployed at the beginning of the last lap, or is deployed during the last lap, it will enter the pit lane at the end of the lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without overtaking Under certain circumstances the race may be started behind the safety car or resumed in accordance with Article In either case, at the commencement of the start procedure its orange lights will be illuminated, this being the signal to the Drivers that the race will be started (or resumed) behind the safety car. When the green flag signal is displayed the safety car will leave the grid or pit lane or marshalling area (as appropriate) and each Driver must follow in grid order, no more than five car lengths apart, and must respect the pit lane speed limit until they pass pole position. During a race start there will be no formation lap and the race will start when the either the green lights are illuminated or another start signal is shown. Overtaking is only permitted if: a) A car is delayed when leaving the grid or pit lane or marshalling area (as appropriate) and cars behind cannot avoid passing it without unduly delaying the remainder of the field, or b) There is more than one car starting from the pit lane and one of them is unduly delayed. In either case a Driver may only overtake to re-establish the original starting order or the order the cars at the pit exit were in when the race was started. Any Driver delayed in either way, or who is unable to re-establish the original starting order before they reach the first safety car line, must enter the pit lane and may only join the race once the whole field has passed the end of the pit lane. 37) SUSPENDING A RACE 37.1 Should it become necessary to suspend the race because the circuit is blocked by an accident or because weather or other conditions make it dangerous to continue, the RD will order red flags to be shown at each marshal post When the signal is given overtaking is forbidden, the pit exit will be closed and each car must proceed slowly to the starting grid. The first car to arrive on the grid should occupy pole position and others should fill the remaining grid positions in the order they arrive. If the race is suspended during a safety car intervention, and the safety car is directed into the pit lane, cars should stop in a line behind the safety car in the fast lane of the pits Any car unable to return to the grid as a result of the track being blocked will be brought back when the track is cleared and will be arranged in the order it occupied before the race was suspended. In all cases the order will be taken at the last point at which it was possible to determine the position of all cars. All such cars will then be permitted to resume the race. The safety car will then be driven to the front of the grid Whilst the race is suspended: a) Neither the race nor the timekeeping system will stop, however, where the Event timetable can accommodate it, the length of the race suspension will be added to the maximum time for the race in question. b) A car may be worked on once it has stopped on the grid or entered the pits but any such work must not impede the resumption of the race. c) Only team members and officials will be permitted on the grid. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 18 of 26

37.5 A car may not enter the pit lane when the race is suspended. A penalty under Article 13.3(a) will be imposed on any Driver who enters the pit lane or whose car is pushed from the grid to the pit lane after the race has been suspended. Any car which was in the pit entry or pit lane at the time the race was suspended will not incur a penalty. However, if the race has been suspended in the pit lane (see Article 37.2) a penalty will only be imposed on any Driver whose car is moved from the fast lane to any other part of the pit lane. Each car in the pit lane will be permitted to leave the pits once the race has been resumed and, subject to the above, any car intending to resume the race from the pit exit may do so in the order it got there under its own power, unless another car was unduly delayed. At all times each Driver must follow the directions of the marshals. 38) RESUMING A RACE 38.1 The delay will be kept as short as possible and as soon as a resumption time is known each Competitor will be informed via the timing monitors where possible, in all cases at least five (5) minutes warning will be given A Signal will be shown five (5) minutes, three (3) minutes, two (2) minutes, one (1) minute and thirty (30) seconds before the resumption and each of these will be accompanied by an audible warning When the three (3) minute signal is shown each car on the grid must have its wheels fitted, after this signal wheels may only be removed in the pit lane, or on the grid during a further race suspension. If the race has been suspended in the pit lane (see Article 37.2) each car in the fast lane must have its wheels fitted at the three (3) minute signal. A penalty under Article 13.3(b) will be imposed on any Driver whose car did not have all its wheels fully fitted at the three (3) minute signal. At the three (3) minute signal any car between the safety car and the leader will start its engine and at the two (2) minute signal will be waved off to complete a further lap, without overtaking, and join the line of cars behind the safety car When the one (1) minute signal is shown, engines should be started and all team personnel must leave the grid by the time the thirty (30) second signal is given taking all equipment with them. If any Driver needs assistance after the thirty (30) second signal they must raise their arm and, when the remainder of the cars able to do so have left the grid, marshals will be instructed to push the car into the pit lane. In this case, marshals will display yellow flags to warn Drivers behind The race will be resumed behind the safety car when the green lights are illuminated. The safety car will enter the pits after one lap unless: a) The race is being resumed in wet conditions and the RD deems more than one lap necessary. b) All cars are not yet in a line behind the safety car. c) Team personnel are still clearing the grid. d) A further incident occurs necessitating another intervention. When the green lights are illuminated the safety car will leave the grid and each Driver must follow, no more than five car lengths apart, and must respect the pit lane speed limit until they pass pole position. Soon after the last car in line behind the safety car passes the end of the pit lane the pit exit light will be turned green, any car in the pit lane may then enter the track and join the line of cars behind the safety car Overtaking is only permitted if: a) A car is delayed when leaving the grid and cars behind cannot avoid passing it without unduly delaying the remainder of the field, or b) There is more than one car starting from the pit lane and one of them is unduly delayed. In either case a Driver may only overtake to re-establish the order before the race was suspended or the order the cars at the pit exit were in when the race was resumed. Any Driver delayed in either way, or who is unable to re-establish the original starting order before they reach the first safety car line, must enter the pit lane and may only re-join the race track once the whole field has passed the end of the pit lane Either of the penalties under Article 13.3a) or b) will be imposed on any Driver who, in the opinion of the stewards, unnecessarily overtook another car during the lap. Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Page 19 of 26

During this lap Articles 36.11, and will apply If the race cannot be resumed the results will be taken at the end of the penultimate lap before the lap during which the signal to suspend the race was given. 39) FINISH 39.1 The end-of-race signal will be given at the Line as soon as the leading car has covered the full race distance or time as specified in the event regulations Should for any reason the end-of-race signal be given to the leading car before it completes the scheduled number of laps or duration, the race will be deemed to have finished when the leading car crossed the Line.
