5 FIRST DEFENSE AEROSOL FORMULATIONS A leading brand among law enforcement agencies, we have an entire range of OC solutions. Officers can select a First Defense product from a complete line of OC sprays that will specifically address the needs at hand. In combining the range of OC products, our color-banded packaging system allows operators and procurement alike to instantly differentiate between the intensity level and type of OC required. Offering the classic water-based formulation of First Defense and X2, along with the intensity of the oil soluble OC formulas of LE-10 in two different levels means that the First Defense line can meet and exceed field requirements of any enforcement officer..2% WHITE BAND.2% was created from the classic water soluble First Defense formula. The.2% represents the major capsaicinoid level which is discharged at the nozzle at time of use. This formulation has been tested and is non-flammable and Electronic Discharge Weapon (EDW) safe..4% YELLOW BAND.4% is equal to the water soluble First Defense X2 spray via a stream pattern. This formulation is the most popular nationwide among patrol officers, providing very effective results without compromising the officer.
