PIT AREA Animals are not permitted at Winton Raceway(Guide Dogs excepted). No alcohol is to be carried or consumed in the pit area until after the close of racing. Only pit crew will be allowed on Pit-lane. People using Pit-lane must wear adequate protective footwear. Children under 16 not permitted in Pit-lane.

The final round for 2018 is upon us The Preston Motorcycle Club in conjunction with Motorcycling Victoria are proud to be up and running for Round 4 of the Victorian Road Race Championships 2018.

5 The final round for 2018 is upon us The Preston Motorcycle Club in conjunction with Motorcycling Victoria are proud to be up and running for Round 4 of the Victorian Road Race Championships We are very excited to be running the final round of the series at Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex. We welcome all competitors, spectators and supporters to MV State Motorcycle Sports Complex, Broadford. As well as round 4 of the VRRC, spectators can also enjoy the diversity with Round 2 of the Victorian Supermoto Championships, a round of the national GP Juniors Cup and the Sidecars will also be running. Our main sponsors have been CYKEL, Pirelli, Motul, TAC/Spokes and this year we welcome Shannons Insurance to the fold, as well as our usual sponsors including Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers and Ricondi Leathers Australia. We will also have the support of Race Marshals Victoria in control of the racing, rain hail or shine and Computime Timing Systems ensuring everything runs safely and smoothly, and Mark Lamont on the tyre machine, on behalf of Pirelli. This year saw the traditional Harvey Wiltshire and Hughie Hoare feature races for the Superbike and Supersport classes respectively as endurance races at the Phillip Island round. Congratulations to Mark Chiodo (1st), Max Croker (2nd) and Tyson Jones (3rd) for a great Harvey Wiltshire Memorial Trophy battle, and Mark Chiodo (1st), Max Croker (2nd) and Ryan Taylor (3rd) on making the podiums for those races. Both races come with prize money, and winners names added to the perpetual trophies. The format sees the main championship classes have 2 qualifying sessions and 3 long races and the support classes ride 2 qualifying sessions and 4 shorter races. The series is running in the same format as the ASBK currently uses. Riders who use Pirelli tyres will be eligible for entry into the two random draw prize giveaways and selected classes have contingency prizes available for riders using Pirelli tyres. Trophies will be awarded for the first 3 place getters in each class at every round including B and C grade for Superbike, Supersport and Supermoto. Trophies and prize money will be presented to the first 3 place getters in the Harvey Wiltshire and Hughie Hoare feature races at the conclusion of the weekend. Competitors are eligible for the contingency prizes, if running Pirelli tyres and stickering; We thank you for being part of a very successful year of racing for the titles. Qualifying is divided into 4 groups: Advanced Intermediate A Intermediate B Novice/Slow 3 x 10 minute Qualifying sessions and 4 x 6 lap races, as well as a Supermoto race at the end of the day for those with suitable machinery.
