Afterwards, I begged my parents for months for a dirt bike and finally got my wish when I turned eight. I ve been hooked ever since. In 2002 I was working as a computer engineer and saw an opportunity to make a better motorcycle clutch. While keeping my day job, I worked nights on my new clutch design. With help from Boise State University and a local machine shop the first prototype was developed. It worked! My brother, Danny, came on board to help and Lynn Hodges, the owner of Pro Moto Billet, generously brought Danny and I into his shop. As apprentices, we learned the art of CNC manufacturing and built our first production run. The rest is history. Nine years later, I look around and am grateful to work with such a fine team rooted in a supportive community that has helped bring Rekluse to where we are today. 6 P r o d u c t G u i d e Auto-ClutchTechnology What is an Auto Clutch? Rekluse Core EXP, EXP and z-start Pro are all auto-clutches. All three clutch systems allow retention of one s clutch lever to manually override the auto-clutch at all times. As with any standard clutch, the rider can still feed, fan, slip or pop the clutch and do motocross style starts. The benefit is that the auto-clutch will do the feed automatically, consistently allowing the rider to be free to focus on other aspects of their riding. At any time if the automatic feed is not preferred in a particular situation just reach for the clutch lever and manually feed, fan, slip, or pop the clutch One can shift into gear from neutral without pulling in the clutch lever as well as shift the gears while riding, either up or down, without pulling in the clutch lever. It s possible to stop in gear without pulling in the clutch lever too. It is not an automatic transmission, though, you must shift the gears. One could say it is somewhat like shifting a Honda Z50 or CRF50, except Rekluse is a performance enhancing autoclutch for full sized bikes and ATV s. Fully Adjustable All Rekluse auto-clutches are fully adjustable. Over time the rider will find a preferred set-up to enhance personal strengths and overcome limitations. They offer each rider the ability to create custom settings to enhance personal riding styles, changing conditions, and different types of riding. For Example; An overly aggressive rider that punches the throttle mid-corner and upsets the arc, flow and momentum can now adjust the autoclutch to feed out progressively as opposed to suddenly. Now when the rider punches the throttle, the auto-clutch automatically feeds out the power resulting in a more smooth power delivery, continuous arc and greater momentum. If the feed is too progressive a simple stab at the clutch lever brings the aggression back immediately. On the other hand, a rider that is patient and has progressive throttle control can adjust to a more aggressive feed setting, thus allowing the rider to run a taller gear than normal through a corner yeilding more control and faster lap times REKLUSE Visit us online at

Wedges provided increased clutch performance at low to mid RPMs over traditional ball-bearing auto-clutches.
