2 OFFICIAL WEBSITE: ; 1. OPENING HOURS OF THE ISDE SECRETARIAT: November 2 nd, 2007 from 09:00 to 13:00; 14:00 to 19:00. The following days working hours will be advised at the entrance of the Secretariat. 2. ENTRIES: The National Federations must send the pre-entry forms to the organizer between May 23 rd and August 15 th, The organizer will confirm in writing the acceptance of the entries by August 22 nd, Motorcycle frame number and Registration number plate details must be provided at the close of entries for your entry to be accepted. The entry fee for one rider is US$ 600 (American dollars) and must be paid at the latest on September 26 th, This amount must be settled through the FMN of the rider directly to the organizer. The maximum number of entries is 620. A copy of the Acknowledgement and agreement of the FIM Anti-Doping Code (enclosed) dully signed by each rider with the confirmation from his FMN will be required at the time of the Administrative Inspection. In order for the official application form to be valid, it must be sent to the organizer with confirmation of the payment of the required fee for a specified rider (full name). An entry, without confirmation of the payment, will be not accepted. STANDS FOR HOLDERS OF FIM LICENCES FOR MANUFACTURES The holders of FIM licenses for manufactures and accessories, who are interested in having stands in the paddock area, must submit an application in accordance with FIM rules, stating the dimensions of the required area. These applications must be submitted

3 to the ISDE Secretariat by June 15 th, From this date onwards the organizer can manage this area and may lease it to other interested parties. 4. PRESS CENTRE Preliminary accreditations made on the organizer s form must be submitted to the ISDE Secretariat by June 15 th, 2007 and definitely by September 30 th ACCOMMODATION The organization strongly recommend attendants to prefer services from the official travel agency of ISDE 2007-Mundotour, which has been given exclusive rights by the organizer to provide lodging and rental car services. The organizer will not be responsible for accommodation or other services arranged with any other party than Mundotour. 4 The Parc Ferme of the 82 nd ISDE will be at the La Serena Golf Resort, which is approximately 10Kms North of La Serena down town. 8. ADMINISTRATIVE INSPECTION: The administrative inspection will take place in the administrative centre of ISDE situated at the start and the finish of the ISDE at La Serena Golf Resort Before the administrative inspection all riders or their Team managers are required to undergo an accreditation at the ISDE Secretariat by the latest on November 8 th, 2007 by 9 a.m. The administrative inspection will take place on: November 8 th, 2007: From to and to November 9 th, 2007: From to and to The timetables of the Administrative and Technical Inspection for each country will be placed at the ISDE Secretariat on November 6 th, 2007 at 1 p.m. and entered into the official website of the event. Requirements and documents needed for Administrative Inspection: FIM license prescribed for given type of event valid driving license passport confirmation of payment of entry fee dully signed Acknowledgement and agreement of the FIM Anti-doping code form dully filled organizer s form which will be given during the accreditation 9. The helmets for riders in Trophy and Junior Trophy Teams must comply with Article of the FIM Enduro Technical Rules and Article 60.6 of the FIM Sporting Code. 10. CLASSES:

5 Enduro 1: from 100cc to 125cc 2-Stroke and from 175cc to 250cc 4-Stroke Enduro 2: from 175cc to 250cc 2-Stroke and from 290cc to 450cc 4-Stroke Enduro 3: from 290cc to 500cc 2-Stroke and from 475cc to 650cc 4-Stroke 11.WOMEN S WORLD CUP FOR NATIONAL TEAMS This is a competition where each FMN affiliated to the FIM may enter one or more teams. A women team must be conformed by three riders. The two best results will count for each day. There are not class requirements. 12. PADDOCK (ISDE CENTRE) It will be opened from November 2nd, 2007 from 8 a.m. The number of cars allowed to enter to the Paddock will be limited. The Paddock will be closed for vehicles movement from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on November 12 th -17 th, On any other days it will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. 13. ACCESS TO WORKING AREA Compliant with Article and for the following persons: 2 persons for every Trophy team 1 person for every Junior Trophy team and Club team VIPs The clerk of the Course will take decisions in other exceptional cases Accredited TV crews and photojournalists (passes will be available at the Press Centre) International Jury and FMN delegates 14. ADVERTISING The placing of banners, balloons, boards, flags etc. at the ISDE Secretariat, Paddock, parking places, special tests, official route and other places related to the event is strictly forbidden without the organizer s written permission. 15. ENVIRONMENT Every rider must respect the provisions of the FIM Rules for Environment and must be equipped with protective matting under his motorcycle. 16. STARTING NUMBERS AND NUMBER PLATES

6 Starting numbers and number plate backgrounds are provided by organizer. Advertising on the number background is reserved for the organizer. Every rider must declare that he has been informed of this obligation and that he agrees to the use of the signage provided by the organizer during the competition. On the number background there will be the starting number together with the logos of the partners of the ISDE THE OPENING OF THE ISDE The opening ceremony of the 82 nd ISDE will take place at 7:00PM on Saturday, November 10 th, 2007 at La Serena centre. 18. THE START The start begins each day at 8 a.m. in the Paddock adjacent area at La Serena Golf Resort approximately 10 km from La Serena centre. The start will take place in accordance with the provisions of Article of the FIM ISDE Regulations. 19. THE COURSE The total length of the track, including the special tests, is 1250 km (approx). The distance between the time check points will be set in accordance with Article of the FIM ISDE Regulations. Day 1/2 Day 1 and 2 will be 1 lap per day of approximately 240 km. There will be 5 time checks and 6 special tests. Day 3/4 Day 3 and 4 will be 1 lap per day of approximately 250km. There will be 5 time checks and 6 special tests. Day 5 Day 5 will be 1 lap of approximately 240 km. There will be 5 time checks and 5 special tests. Day 6 Day 6 will be a short ride of 30 kms to the final Motocross. 20. SECURITY OF THE TRACK AND SPECIAL TESTS The venues and tracks of the special tests will be posted on the official board at the Secretary of the contest, always 48 hours in advance. 21. INSPECTION OF THE TRACK

7 According to the Article of the FIM ISDE Regulations, delegated representatives of each FMN whose riders have been accepted, must have their name presented to the secretariat of the ISDE 2007 and the FIM 15 days before the contest, will have the opportunity to inspect the track on the following dates: November 8 th, 2007 November 9 th, 2007 November 10 th, 2007 These delegated representatives will meet at 9 a.m. at the start and finish area at the La Serena Golf Resort. This will be strictly enforced. Pre riding without the permission of the ISDE 2007 organizers is forbidden. 22. PENALIZATION OF RIDERS The penalties for riders will be applied according to the Article of the FIM ISDE regulations. 23. HIGHWAY CODE FOR OPERATION ON PRIVATE HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC ROADS CROSSINGS All riders and participants in the contest must respect the Chilean transit law for operation on private highways and public road crossings. They must conform to all instructions that are given by the traffic marshals and management. A rider failing to observe this instruction may be disqualified from the contest. 24. ORGANIZATION AND SAFEGUARDING OF THE MOVEMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES. The entire area of the La Serena Golf Resort, where the organization centre of the ISDE 2007 is located (secretariat, paddock, parc fermé, start and finish) is restricted for public access. Participants will receive a badge from the organizer that need to be presented at the entry gate of La Serena Golf resort. This permit will also be issued by the organizer for accompanying vehicles. Arrivals and departures of accompanying vehicles will be checked. The movement of riders who are starting in the contest is organized in accordance with the FIM ISDE Regulations. 25. FUEL AND TYRES All fuel used must be in conformity with the wording of Article of the FIM Technical Regulations for Enduro. All tyres used on the competition motorcycles must be in accordance with the wording of Article of the FIM Technical Regulations for Enduro. 26. BIBS AND STARTING NUMBERS OF RIDERS

8 Organization will provide each rider with a bib containing his starting number and organization s partners logos that every rider must agree to wear in the course of the final speed test. 27. INTERPRETATION OF REGULATIONS AND RULES The interpretation of the FIM regulations and rules for ISDE and of the Supplementary Regulations approved for this event is in the competency of the International Jury approved by the FIM for this event. The Jury may also deal with all matters which are not referred to in these regulations and rules. 28. MEETINGS OF THE JURY The meetings of the Jury will take place in a room near the restaurant of the La Serena Golf Resort. The first meeting will take place on November 10 th, 2007 at 9 p.m. The timetable of further meetings of the Jury will be determined by its President and will be posted on the official notice-board. 29. THE CLOSING CEREMONY AND PRESENTATION OF PRIZES The closing ceremony will be held at La Serena Golf Resort. Tickets for meal and prizes presentation will be available at ISDE 2007 secretariat from November 5 th, INSURANCE The insurance of participants is regulated by the provisions of Article and of FIM General Rules of Sport and Article of the FIM ISDE Regulations. 31.
