1 RULES AND REGULRATIONS Basketball Tournament 3x3 Feel the Bit $ 1. ORGANISERS 1. The main organizer of the Basketball Tournament 3x3 Feel the Bit is Fundacja Aktywniaki (Aktywniaki Foundation) 2. The tournament will take place on 15th September It will start at a.m. and finish at 2.30 p.m. $ 3. THE PLACE OF THE TOURNAMENT 1. The tournament will take place on Solny Square (Plac Solny) in Wrocław. The matches will be played simultaneously on two pitches adjusted to the 3x3 games. $ 4. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION 1. Participation in the tournament is free. 2. One team should consist of 3 players + 1 reserve (bench warmer) (it is not possible to add any players to the team after the registration is completed). The captain of the team should be designated during the registration process). The captain is the person who will be responsible for handling formal issues with the organisers of the tournament. 1

2 3. The main referee of the tournament has the right to change the name of the team if he considers it offensive or inappropriate. 4. Only adults (over 18) can take part in the tournament. 5. Only layers who were registered on the form are entitled to take part in the game. The organiser reserves the right to verify the identity of the participants of the tournament. The identity document (ID) must have a photograph of the holder. 6. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify a team if found that unregistered player entered the game. 7. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify a player because of blatant behaviour on as well as off the pitch. The organizer has also the right to disqualify the whole team because of misbehaviour of one player of the team. 8. The organiser reserves the right to choose the teams that will take part in the tournament. 9. The team must have two sets of sport suits in light and dark colours with the numbers on the shirts. 10. The 3x3 Feel the Bit tournament is intended for men only. $ 5. GAME ELIMINATION 1. The games are carried out in 4 groups; each group plays against other groups. 2. The draw will decide about the division of teams into groups. 3. The order of places will be decided on the following basis: - The number of points (2 points for winning the game, 1 point for losing the game) - The result of a direct match - More favourable score of points. 4. The team forfeits the game if the 3 players will not appear on the pitch ready to play at the appointed time. In case of walkover, the team that scores 0 points, the winner scores 2 points. The result of the match is written down as w-0 or 0-w, where w stands for winner. 5. The team loses the match due to the lack of players, when there is only one player on the pitch and he has no possibility to take the ball. 6. The team losing due to the lack of players or in case of walkover in order to gain unsportsmanlike benefits may be disqualified and removed from the tournament by a decision of Biuro of the Organiser. 7. Two teams leave the group creating the quarter final groups, and then half final groups. The match for 3rd place and the finals. 8. The system of eliminations can be changed, due to the number of the teams. $ 6. APPLICATION 1. The captain of the team reports to the tournament it may be done by using the panel on the webpage www. 2

3 2. The organiser informs the team about the results of the tournament using the Facebook profile and the same webpage by means of which the registration is done. The organizer reserves the rights to choose the teams from the list that will take part in the tournament 3. The lists of the participants will be published on the organiser s website and via Facebook, not later than The captain of each of the chosen teams is obliged to confirm the participation of the team in the tournament not later than In case of resignation of one team, other team will be chosen. 6. Applications to the tournament will be accepted from the moment of launching the panel on www. 7. The person who represents the team / the captain accepts the rules and regulations of the tournament automatically. $ 7. TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS 1. The matches will be played on the pitches 11m x 15m equipped with the baskets. The pitch has a free throw line marked 5,80m away from the basket, throw line for 2 points - 6,75m away from the basket. 2. The board measuring the time of the game and the 12 seconds time for the action will be located on the referee s table, next to the pitch. 3. The matches will be played in accordance with The official regulations of basketball game 3x3. (Oficjalnymi Przepisami Gry w Koszykówke 3x3) 4. The matches will be played only with the balls officially certified by FIBA for the 3x3 games (size 6) 5. The main referee and the zone tournaments referees will be assigned by the organizer of the tournament. 6. The organizer of the tournament is obliged to provide the tournament office service and the service of the referee s table ( secretary, the measuring time of the game person, the measuring time of the action person) 7. The referees decisions are final and not subject to appeal procedures. In matters not covered by the regulations of 3x3 games, the final decision are made by the main referee of the tournament. 8. The organizer of the tournament supplies medical care that includes: an ambulance and two EMS workers (emergency medical service). 9. The teams take part in the tournament at their own costs. 10. Participation in the game of an unauthorized player or the player with the changed identification will result in the exclusion from the game. 11. Only official video recording provided by the organiser will be taken into consideration while making the decision by the main referee. 3

4 $ 8. THE RULES OF THE GAME 1. Each game has to start with two 3-person-teams that consist of registered players. The game has to finish with at least two players in the team. 2. The draw will decide which will be in possession of the ball. 3. Each point scored from half-distance and personal throws gives 1 point. The throw from the distance (6,75m) gives 2 points. 4. The game lasts 10 minutes, and the winner is the team with the highest amount of points or the match finishes when the team scores 21 points. 5. When after 10 minutes the match ends with the draw, overtime is ordered. The overtime starts with the drawing. 6. When the team loses the points, the game starts from behind the line 6,75m with the checking ball, called check (passing the ball to the player from the opposite team) all the players from attacking team have to go behind the throw line 6,75m. When the ball crosses the side or end line the game starts without the checking ball. The players of the defending team have to be in the 1 point field. 7. After the capture the attacking players take the ball behind the 6,75m line (only passing the ball or the player with the ball has to get behind the line for 2 points). 8. it is forbidden to do a follow-up shot after the throw of the opposite team. In such situation, the opposite team gets the points and the ball because of the opponent s mistake. The follow-up shot is allowed after the throw of your own team. 9. Each team is entitled to have one one-minute-break, which can be taken after the lost score. 10. The match is umpired by the referee appointed by the organiser. 11. It is essential to make an effort to resolve any disputes amicably in the name of friendly and cordial atmosphere of the tournament. The referee has the final verdict. 12. Malicious fouls, noticed by the referee, will be punished with one-point-throw from the free throw line and with passing the ball to the opposite team. 13. Roughness during the game and bad behavior during the tournament may lead to exclusion from the contest the whole team of the player who behaves reprehensibly. 14. After the fifth foul a free throw is done by the opposite team. 15. The changes of the players are volatile, they can be done only when the attacking team begins the action behind the 6,75m line. $ 9. THE RULES OF THE CONTEST BLIND SHOT 1. One of the spectators will be chosen to take part in the Blind Shot contest. The way of choosing the person taking part in the Blind Shot will be announced during the tournament. 2. The chosen person will have to give one throw from the middle of the pitch with covered eyes. If the person scores, they will win 1 Bitcoin. 4

5 3. The prize of 1 Bitcoin will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. $ 10. The rules of the contest WSADY (DUNKS) 1. Maximum 5 people and minimum 3 people can apply for the contest. 2. The order of applications will decide who will take part in the contest. 3. If the qualified participant resigns from the contests, the empty place will be taken by the next person from the list. 4. Two contestants with the highest amount of points gained in dunks (max 3 attempts for one dunk)[assessed by the jury of 5 people, on the scale from 1 to 10] will advance to the finals. Each of the contestants will do two dunks. 5. The prize for the winning the contest is 0,4 of Bitcoin. 6. The prize will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. $ 11. THE PRIZES 1. The total prize pool of the 3x3 Feel the Bit tournament is 3 bitcoins (BTC) 2. The winning team receives the prize of 1 bitcoin (BTC). The prize will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. 3. The second team will receive the prize of 0,4 bitcoin (BTC). The prize will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. 4. The third team will receive the prize of 0,2 bitcoin (BTC). The prize will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. 5. During the tournament the Blind Shot witll take place. The winner of that contest will receive the prize of 1 bitcoin (BTC). The prize will be given on the day of tournament on the external carrier cold wallet. $ 12. PERSONAL DATA OF THE PARTICIPANTS 1. Personal data of all the participants of the 3x3 Feel The Bit tournament, given by the team captains according to the rules and regulations of the tournament, will be processed on the principles provided by law on personal data protection for the purposes of implementing activities related to 3x3 Feel The Bit. All data is stored in accordance with the applicable law on personal data protection. 5

6 $ 13. INSURANCE 1. The participants of 3x3 Feel The Bit tournament are insured at their own cost and by participating in the tournament they automatically they are waiving claims for the consequences of unfortunate accidents from the tournament organizer. 2. The organisers of the tournament do not take the responsibility for any injures of the participants that may occur during the tournament. $ 14. GENERAL PROVISIONS 1. The contestants are responsible for material damages caused as a result of the use of baskets for play contrary to the regulations. 2. The organisers of the tournament are not responsible for any injuries of the participants that may occur during the tournament. 3. The organisers reserve the right to change the rules and regulations of the tournament. 4. The contestants taking part in the game read the regulations and accept the assumptions and content of them. 5. The organizer reserves the right to make decisions regarding matters not included in the regulations. 6. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tournament in case of such weather conditions that would make it impossible to play the tournament. 6
