1 ACC and the NBA Draft 103 The following is a listing of players from ACC schools that have been selected in the annual NBA college basketball draft. No ACC players were selected in the NBA s first two drafts of 1947 and Since the 1949 draft, 419 ACC players have been selected, including four players who were drafted twice. In addition, the ACC has produced 148 first round selections. South Carolina selections were included until their departure from the ACC following the 1971 season. Players selected from Georgia Tech, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech and ton College prior to their schools admission to the ACC are listed in the years they were drafted, but not included in the yearly total (denoted in parenthesis).
