1 NEWS RELEASE For Use As Desired Monday, April 12, 2010 WHAT: WHERE: 2010 NFL Draft Radio City Music Hall New York City WHEN: 7:30 PM, Thursday, April 22 (Round 1) 6:00 PM, Friday, April 23 (Rounds 2-3) 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 24 (Rounds 4-7) Locally, the NovaCare Complex will serve as the Eagles draft headquarters. All print media covering the draft will be stationed in the media work room, while all of the electronic media can occupy the auditorium. Meals will be provided during the draft in the cafeteria. For the first time, round one will take place on Thursday beginning at 7:30 PM ET. The draft will resume on Friday at 6:00 PM for the second and third rounds. Rounds 4-7 will take place on Saturday commencing at 10:00 AM. Each club will be allowed ten minutes to make its selection in round one. In round two, the selection time is seven minutes. In rounds 3-7, each selection will be allocated five minutes. The NFL Network and ESPN will provide live television coverage of all 255 selections over the course of three days. Locally, WPVI will broadcast a live draft show at 11:30 pm each night originating from the Eagles locker room. Comcast Sportsnet Philadelphia will also produce a live nightly draft show from their studios. EAGLES OFFSEASON SCHEDULE Mandatory Mini-Camp April 30 - May 2 OTAs (rookies & selected vets) May 19-20, OTAs (all players) June 1-4, 7-10 EAGLES DRAFT PARTY... The Eagles will host their annual draft party on Thursday, April 22, at the SCA Club of Lincoln Financial Field. The draft party, presented by Lincoln Financial Group and 94 WYSP, begins at 6:30 pm and lasts until the end of the first round. Fans will be treated to autograph sessions with current and former players, an introduction to the 2010 cheerleading squad and Swoop, locker room tours, field activities, and live remote broadcasts by 610 WIP and 94 WYSP. In addition, the Eagles will host their 5th annual merchandise tent sale in the HeadHouse Plaza. ON THE WEB... Eagles Draft Live, presented by Dietz & Watson, returns for a 6th consecutive season. PhiladelphiaEagles.com will have over 15 hours of live programming throughout the draft. Last year s show was accessed over one million times. Coverage begins on Wednesday, April 21 at 12 pm as Merrill Reese joins Dave Spadaro in broadcasting exclusive interviews with key Eagles personnel and draft picks. The show will also air live press conferences, features involving current players, fan interactivity, and merchandise specials.
