Welcome Wildcat Fans, Thank you for joining the University of Kentucky Alumni Association as the Wildcats head to Indianapolis for the NCAA Division I Men s Basketball Championship! Please read through the following booklet which contains specifics on your tour, the game location, helpful tips and general information. See you in Indianapolis! LOCAL WEATHER Weather in the Indianapolis, IN area is usually cool this time of year. On average, the daily highs are in the 50 s with overnight lows dropping to the low 30 s. A warm sweater or jacket, layers, and a bit of rain gear (just in case) should be all you need to go along with your Wildcat attire.! 3 HOTEL AND CHECK-IN INFORMATION Upon arrival at your specific Tour Hotel, please check in at your Hospitality Desk to pick up your room key and sign up for any additional tours (if applicable). After you visit the Hospitality Desk, you may still be required to register your credit card at the hotel s Front Desk to guarantee incidentals (e.g. room service, phone calls). Standard check-in is 4:00 pm at most hotels. Therefore, early arrivals may not have access to rooms until later in the afternoon. Every attempt will be made to meet any specific requests you may have noted for your hotel room. As always, these requests are based on hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed. The hotel s Front Desk and Concierge are available for suggestions on local activities and information including directions, dining, shopping and nightlife. HOSPITALITY DESK This is your center for specific tour information and general assistance while on location. Here, our on-site Travel Hosts are available to assist you in answering any tour-related questions. Please check the UK Alumni Final Four Hospitality Desk daily for any new or updated tour, optional excursion, flight, and/or bus transfer information. 3

4 GAME TICKETS If you are a participant that has purchased game tickets with your tour package, they will be available for pickup at the Tour Hospitality Desk at your hotel. (See Tour Desk Hours in the Daily Itinerary Section.) You will need a valid ID to receive these Game Tickets. Please be careful: There are no replacement game tickets or reimbursement for lost or stolen tickets, so please ensure that you keep your game tickets in a secure place. 4

5 DAILY ITINERARY FRIDAY, APRIL 3 1:30PM -5:30PM Tour Sign-Up SATURDAY, APRIL 4 9:30PM - 12:30PM 12:30PM 1:30PM Your on-site UK Alumni Final Four Tour hosts will be available at each hotel s Hospitality Desk. Please sign up for Optional Excursions upon check-in at Hospitality Desk. See Optional Excursions on page 8 for more information. UK Alumni Final Four Tour Hosts will be available at your hotel s Hospitality Desk. Buses depart your hotel for the UK Alumni Association Pre-Game Party and the NCAA Men s Basketball Semifinals! Official UK Alumni Pre-Game Party at Victory Fieldhouse! Join UK Alumni and friends for a pre-game party prior to the Final Four matchup between Kentucky Wildcats and Wisconsin Badgers at Lucas Oil Stadium. The event will be held at Victory Fieldhouse, which is walking distance from the stadium. Spirit items will be available and the UK Band and Cheerleaders will also make a special appearance! Admission has already been included in your Tour Package and will include unlimited food, non-alcoholic beverages and beer. Spirits available for purchase. 5

6 SATURDAY, APRIL 4 (...Continued) 6:09PM NCAA MEN S BASKETBALL SEMIFINALS TIP OFF! Game 1 - Michigan St vs Duke Game 2 - Kentucky vs Wisconsin - GO CATS! (Tip-off for Game 2 is approximately 8:49PM) IMPORTANT: Be sure to stay on the bus until it parks so you will know where to find it when the game is over. Remember your bus number and parking location. Motorcoaches will await to return you to your designated hotel and will depart no later than 45 minutes after the end of the game. SUNDAY, APRIL 5 9:00AM 12:00PM 1:30PM 5:30PM 9:30PM 11:30AM and 2:00PM UK Alumni Final Four Tour Hosts will be available at your hotel s Hospitality Desk Optional Excursion: Buses depart to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Optional Excursion: Buses depart to the Fan Fest. Return shuttle from Fan Fest is 5PM. 6

Buses depart your hotel for the NCAA Men s Basketball Final! NCAA MEN S BASKETBALL FINAL THIS IS IT!! TIP OFF! IMPORTANT: Be sure to stay on the bus until it parks so you will know where to find it when the game is over. Remember your bus number and parking location. Motorcoaches await to return you to your designated hotel and will depart no later than 45 minutes after the end of the game. TUESDAY, APRIL 7 HOTEL CHECK-OUT Upon departure, please visit the hotel s Front Desk to check out, return keys, and pay for any incidental room charges at this time. 7

8 OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY TOUR April 5, 10:00AM, 2 hours The 60- to 90-minute conducted tour of the Speedway gives you the opportunity to tour the oval track and stand on the famous Yard of Bricks at the start/finish line. The tour includes the media center, the Pagoda, the victory platform, the garage area, and a Gasoline Alley hospitality suite. The tour ends with a visit to the Hall of Fame Museum. Price: $55 per person. Buses depart hotel at 9:30AM. NOTE: CASH OR TRAVELERS CHECKS ONLY FOR ALL ON-SITE TOURS. FINAL FOUR FAN FEST presented by Capital One April 5, 12:00-5:00PM Final Four Fan Fest is the ultimate pregame destination. An indoor interactive event, Fan Fest entertains basketball fans of all ages as well as fans of all NCAA sports by offering a chance to meet legendary coaches and former college stars at exclusive autograph sessions, and participate in a host of sport activities ranging from basketball to lacrosse to hockey and more. Price: Free! Tickets and transfers to Fan Fest included in your package. There will be two transfer times to this event. Buses depart hotel at 11:30AM and 2PM. 8

9 STADIUM INFORMATION In an effort to enhance public safety, Lucas Oil Stadium and the NCAA have created security policies for the 2015 NCAA Men s Final Four. The following items will be in full effect at Lucas Oil Stadium: Bag Policy (See approved and prohibited bags on the following page). All individuals will be subject to a search upon entry to AT&T Stadium. All individuals, regardless of age, must have a valid event ticket. There will be no re-entry into Lucas Oil Stadium on game days. *Failure to comply with Lucas Oil Stadium management will result in denial of entry.
