After 7 years, Jacob s remains were found on Sept., and his family later requested the public wear No., his youth sports number, to honor him. For the first three home games, Wild players will wear custom No. helmet stickers and a dasherboard on the rink will be dedicated to Jacob. Zach Parise, who grew up in Bloomington six-years-younger than Jacob and now wears No. with the Wild, met with the Wetterling family before they were honored in Saturday s pre-game ceremonies. He hugged Jacob s parents, Patty and Jerry, and presented them with a personal letter and a donation to the JWRC: an $, check from Parise and his wife, Alisha.
