9 ScrumHub The ScrumHub goal is to improve the use of Scrum. The ScrumHub will do so by providing just-intime, topical knowledge to enterprises, projects, and people embarked on employing Scrum to improve their products, workplaces, and customer relationships. The ScrumHub is a part of the ScrumAlliance, a non-profit organization of Scrum users. Itʼs staff will be the domain experts of the various parts of the domain knowledge of Scum and how to use Scrum. The ScrumHub will exist as a physical office in the Boston area, and as a virtual office reaching anyone that wants to collaborate. 17 ScrumHub ScrumAlliance sponsors fund research into Scrum usage Carnegie Mellon University Mark Paulk is a Senior Systems Scientist at the Institute for Software Research of Carnegie Mellon University. From 1987 to 2002, Mark was with the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon, where he led the work on the Capability Maturity Model for Software. Markʼs research interests revolve around empirical research, high maturity practices, statistical thinking, and agile methods.
