2 ANUNCIO DE REGATAS 1. ORGANIZING AUTHORITY Jorn W. Haga in cooperation with Snipe Fleet 146 and Snipe Class International Racing Association ("SCIRA"). 2. HOST CLUB AND FLEET Real Club Mediterráneo and Real Club Mediterráneo Snipe Fleet # RULES 3.1. La regata se regirá por las reglas tal como se definen en el Reglamento de Regatas a Vela de la ISAF (RRV) y además las de la Clase Snipe El Reglamento de competición de la Federación Andaluza de Vela Será de aplicación el apéndice P (RRV) Será obligatorio el uso de chaleco salvavidas en todo momento mientras se halle a flote sin necesidad de señal alguna (Esto modifica el Preámbuli de la Parte 4 de la regla 40 del RRV). 4. ADVERTISING 4.1 Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. 5. ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY 5.1 This regatta is open to SCIRA registered boats and Class Member skippers and crews who are in good standing with SCIRA for the current year. To be considered Master, only skipper to be at least 45 years of age in the year of the regatta. 5.2 Eligible competitors shall enter by sending an to osebergchallenge@gmail.com up to 1800 of February 17 th, 2017, including: - Sail Nr. - Skipper and Crew - Category - Club / Country 5.3 All entrants are required to complete the on site registration/check-in process by 1000, Saturday, February 18 th, 2017.

SCHEDULE 6.1 Registration/Check-in Friday, February, 17th 2017: 0900 to 1800 Saturday, February 18th 2017: 0900 to Racing Saturday, February, 18 th 2017: Warning Signal First Race at 1100 Sunday, February, 19 st 2017: Warning Signal First Race at 1100 On the last day of the regatta, no warning signal will be made after The Race Committee will attempt to complete as much as possible races per day. 7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS 7.1 Sailing Instructions will be available at on-site registration/check-in on February 17th, VENUE 8.1. The racing venue will be the area known as Málaga Bay in the Mediterranean Sea off Málaga. 9. COMPETITION FORMAT 9.1 The initial competition format will be in fleet. 10. COURSES 10.1 The tours will be those approved in the Rules of Conduct for the realization of races for National and International Championships of SCIRA. 11. SCORING Appendix A and the Low Scoring System described in rule A4.1 of the RRV are applied with the modifications described in the Notice and the Sailing Instructions When three or fewer tests have been completed, each ship's score will be the sum of your score for all tests When four events have been completed, each ship's score will be the sum of all points excluding their worst score.

4 12. INSURANCE Each non Spanish participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of , 00 or the equivalent. 13. DISCLAIMEROF LIABILITY Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See Rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. 14. RADIO COMMUNICATION Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones. 15. PRIZES Three distinctions or medals will be given to the three best classified in the following tests and categories: Copa Andalucía de Snipe. Ø Three first classified "absolute" of the general Ø First classified master (pattern> 44 years old). Ø First classified "juvenile". Ø First classified "female". II Oseber Challenge. SOCIAL There will be an Opening BBQ scheduled for Saturday, February 18th after racing and a Prize giving Ceremony scheduled for the evening of Sunday, February 19st 2017, subsequent to the races. 17. Shower Facilities: RCM has two (2) separate shower facilities, one (1) each for men and for women.
