This product is non-combustible, however, dried films are capable of burning and supporting combustion when in contact with flames. Containers of this material may build up pressure if exposed to fire. Use water to spray cool fire-exposed containers. Closed containers may rupture when exposed to extreme heat. Hazardous Combustion Products: Irritating and toxic gases, vapors and dusts may be generated and released during combustion. Note: This material in a wet state is (42%) H2O. In a dry state it is mixed with (1 to 2) parts portland cement and (1 to 3) parts aggregate.

2 Special Firefighting Procedures: Observe recommended procedures in handling fire areas. Wear appropriate firefighting equipment including self-contained breathing apparatus and full fire protective clothing. Thoroughly decontaminate all protective equipment after use. SECTION IV HEALTH HAZARD DATA Effects of Overexposure: Vapor odors may cause irritation in the upper and lower respiratory tracts in addition to nausea, headaches, and dizziness. EYE CONTACT: INHALATION: SKIN CONTACT: INGESTION: Chronic Exposure: Carcinogenicity: Can cause irritation, redness and tearing. Inhalation of vapor may cause irritation to the respiratory tract. Can cause minor irritation. Can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal irritation. No hazard in normal industrial use. Prolonged or repeated contact with skin may cause irritation and dermatitis. This material does not contain 0.1% or more of any chemical regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as a carcinogen. First Aid Procedures: If affected by vapors, move to fresh air. Apply artificial respiration to person who loses consciousness and call doctor immediately. Treat eye and skin contact by washing thoroughly with clean water. If irritation persists, see a doctor immediately. Wash contaminated clothing before use. If material is ingested and the person is conscious, give two (2) glasses of water to drink and call a doctor immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. SECTION V REACTIVITY DATA Stability: Hazardous Decomposition Products: Hazardous Polymerization: Conditions to Avoid: Incompatibility: Stable at normal temperatures and storage conditions. Thermal decomposition may form and produce various hydrocarbons and irritating vapors. Will not occur. Avoid temperatures below forty (40) degrees F. Avoid freezing conditions. Avoid materials that react with water. Also avoid acids and alkali. SECTION VI SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES In case of leak or spill: Dike or absorb spilled material with absorbent material such as sand, earth, or saw dust. Use rags to clean up small amounts of spilled material. Large spill: Persons not wearing protective equipment should be evacuated from area of spill until cleanup has been completed. Stop leak at source when it is safe to do so. Dike and pump the liquid into waste containers. Prevent spilled material from contaminating soil, entering sanitary sewers, storm sewers and drainage systems and prevent from entering into bodies of water that lead to waterways. Waste Disposal Method: Collect contaminated absorbed material and rags into a disposal container and dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Consult with your local hazardous waste regulations regarding landfill dumping.

3 SECTION VII SAFE HANDLING AND USE INFORMATION Skin: Respiration Protection: Ventilation: Protective Gloves: Eye Protection: Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact. Avoid breathing vapor. Wear approved respirator unless ventilation equipment is adequate to keep airborne concentrations below the exposure standards. General mechanical ventilation may be sufficient to keep product vapor concentrations below specified TLV ranges. If adequate, use local exhaust. Use impermeable solvent resistant gloves to protect from skin contact. Use safety goggles, chemical safety glasses and/or face shields. Other Protective Equipment: Impermeable aprons and protective clothing are advised when working with this product. The use of head caps are recommended whenever possible. Hygienic Practices: Eye washes and safety showers in the workplace are recommended. SECTION VIII HANDLING & STORAGE Precautions to be taken in HANDLING & STORAGE: Keep containers closed when not in use. Do not store or handle near heat flames and strong oxidants. Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Rotate stock. Other precautions: Do not store in freezing areas. Keep above forty (40) degrees F. Keep out of the reach of children. SECTION IX EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Respiratory Protection: Eye Protection: Skin Protection: Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control airborne levels of irritating vapors. Respiratory protection is not generally required during normal use and handling. The need for respiratory protection should be evaluated if this material is sprayed or heated in poorly ventilated areas. Wear safety glasses with side shields and a face shield. Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash station and safety shower. Nitrile, neoprene or rubber gloves should provide protection against skin contact. 5 UNUSUAL FIRE & EXPLOSION HAZARDS: None EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Not applicable SECTION IV - HEALTH HAZARD DATA THRESHOLD LIMIT VALUE: Respirable Dust 5 mg /m3 Total Dust 10mg / mg 30 million particles / ft3 POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS: INHALATION: Prolonged exposure to respirable crystalline silica may cause silicosis, a fibrosis (scarring) of the lungs which is permanent and progressive that may lead to death. Silicosis may aggravate or increase the risk of tuberculosis, scleroderma, nephrotoxicity, bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. SKIN CONTACT: Not applicable. EYE CONTACT: A mechanical irritant which can cause moderate eye irritation. This product may cause abrasion to the cornea. Recommend not wearing contact lenses when working with product. INGESTION: Not applicable. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: EYES: Exposure may cause eye tissue inflammation. INHALATION: For single or limited exposures there are no signs or symptoms of exposure to crystalline silica. For routine exposure and for individuals with existing respiratory illness (e.g., bronchitis, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, sputum production, weight loss, fever. MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: The condition of individuals with existing respiratory illness can be aggravated by exposure to this product. CARCINOGENICITY: This product contains respirable crystalline silica which is classified as a Class 1 carcinogen by IARC, a known human carcinogen by NTP, and a California Proposition 65 carcinogen. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: When in contact with moisture in eyes or skin, or when mixed with water, Portland cement becomes highly caustic (ph>12) and will damage or burn (as severely as third-degree) the eyes or skin. Inhalation may cause irritation to the moist mucous membranes of the nose, throat and upper respiratory system or may cause or may aggravate certain lung diseases or conditions. Use exposure controls or personal methods described herein. EYES: Irrigate eyes with water, consult physician. Continue flushing eye for at least 15 minutes, including under lids to remove all particles. SKIN: Wash exposed skin areas with ph-neutral soap and cool water. Seek medical treatment if irritation or inflammation develops or persists. Seek immediate medical treatment in the event of burns. INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Seek medical help if coughing and other symptoms do not subside. Inhalation of large amounts of Portland cement require immediate medical attention.

6 INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, have the victim drink plenty of water and call physician immediately. STABILITY: Product is stable. Keep dry until use. SECTION V - REACTIVITY DATA HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur. INCOMPATIBILITY: None known. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: None SECTION VI - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES SPILLS: Use dry cleanup methods that do not disperse dust into the air. Avoid breathing dust. WASTE DISPOSAL METHODS: Material can be returned to container for later use if not contaminated, can be disposed of as an industrial waste, or mixed with water and discarded as a concrete product in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. SECTION VII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: In dusty environments, use of NIOSH/MSHA approved air purifying respirator with HEPA cartridges or supplied air is recommended. VENTILATION: Local exhaust can be used as necessary to control airborne dust levels. SKIN PROTECTION: Use barrier creams, gloves, boots, and clothing to protect skin from prolonged contact with wet cement, especially in wet, polymer modified concrete. Immediately after working with cement, workers should shower with ph neutral soap and water. Precautions must be observed because cement burns with little warning (little heat or discomfort is experienced). Wear impervious abrasion- and alkali-resistant gloves, boots, long-sleeved shirt, long pants or other protective clothing to prevent skin contact. EYE PROTECTION: In dusty environments, use of tight fitting safety glasses with side shields or goggles to protect eyes from dust and particulate is recommended. Wearing of contact lenses is not recommended because dust can get under the lenses and cause abrasion to the cornea. SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE: NONE OTHER PRECAUTIONS: NONE Do not apply materials when temperature is below 55 degrees F. or when precipitation is imminent. Keep material stored in dry area. Do not allow contact with moisture prior to use. Product contains cement and could harden and become useless. SECTION IX - ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION This product is not known to be ecotoxic (i.e. there is no data which suggests that this product is toxic to birds, fish, invertebrates, microorganisms or plants).

SECTION XI - REGULATORY INFORMATION US OSHA Hazard Communication Rule 29 CFR : Portland cement is considered a hazardous chemical under this regulation and should be included in the employer s hazard communication program. Hazard Category under SARA (Title III), Sections 311 and 3`1: Portland cement qualifies as a hazardous substance with delayed health effects. California Proposition 65: This product contains respirable crystalline silica (quartz) that is classified as a substance known to the state of California to be a carcinogen.
