1 Particle filter P3 210/310-2 H Particle filter 210/310-2, lass 3, is designed for use in Sundström half masks and full face masks. The filter is of type P3 and provides protection against all types of particulate pollutants. The particle filter can easily be combined with a gas filter from the Sundström range to provide protection against gases and vapours, such as those occurring during spray painting. 2 L Utg Gas filter 1P3 299 H The 299 is a combined filter consisting of a lass 1 gas filter and lass 3 par ticle filter. The filter is designed for use in Sundström full face masks and half masks. The filter is of type 1P3 and provides protection against the following types of gases, vapours and par ticles: Type protects against organic gases and vapours, such as solvents, with boiling points <+65. Type protects against inor ganic gases and vapours, such as chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide. 8 Half mask SR 100 M/L, S/M H , H The SR 100 half mask is made of silicone in two sizes, i.e. S/M and M/L. The mask is equipped with two exhalation valves, which ensures very low exhalation resistance. The 358 is green, is made of PV reinforced with polyester, and with inner hose made of thermoplastic ether-ester elastomer. The 359 is black, anti-static and heat resistant. It is made of PM, reinforced with polyester. 12 Welding hood SR 83 H The SR 83 welding hood is a respiratory device designed for continuous air flow, for connection to a compressed air supply. The hood is specially intended to provide protection against harmful gases, radiation and spatter during welding, flame cutting, grinding and similar operations. The design of the hood makes it suitable for work in confined and inaccessible places. The hood is made of wear-resistant leather and has a head harness which is adjustable from the outside. The hood is especially intended for applications involving heavy and sustained work in environments in which the pollutants have poor warning properties or are particularly toxic. The SR 63 is made of a material which is not liable to give rise to frictional sparking, which enables the hood to be used in an explosive or flammable environment. The hood is made of a material which is resistant to chemicals and has an adjustable head harness. The replaceable visor is made of polycarbonate. This combination forms a breathing apparatus designed for continuous air flow, for connection to a compressed air supply. The SR 307 is an accessor y that enables a given facepiece to be used as either a filtering device or a protective device supplied with compressed air. The compressed air attachment is especially intended for applications involving heavy and sustained work in environments in which the pollutants have poor warning properties or are particularly toxic. The SR 307 is made of a material which is not liable to give rise to frictional sparking, which enables the attachment to be used in an explosive or flammable environment. 15 ompressed air filter SR 79/1 H SR 79/2 H The SR 79 is used for producing clean breathable air from ordinary compressed air. The SR 79 is also suitable if clean air is needed for pneumatic tools and instrumentation. The Sundström compressed air filter is available in two versions, i.e. the SR 79/1 for a max. flow rate of approx. 900 l/min and the SR 79/2 for 1800 l/min. The filter consists of a precollector in which coarser particles (oil, water, dirt) are separated out. fter the precollector, the air flows through the main filter in which final cleaning is carried out to remove gases/vapours/odours. The unique feature of the SR 90 irline is the facility available for filter back-up. The compressed air-fed mask is specially intended for applications involving heavy and sustained work in environments in which the pollutants have poor warning properties or are particularly toxic. The SR 90 irline is made of a material which is not liable to give rise to frictional sparking, which enables it to be used in an explosive or flammable environment. 17 Smoke escape hood SR 77 S H SR 77 M H The SR 77 is a filtering respiratory protective device combined with a hood for self rescue from fire and smoke. The hood is based on the SR 90 silicone half mask, which is mounted in a hod made of flame-resistant material. The hood can be put on quickly and simply, without prior adjustment. The hood is available in one size which fits most adults and teenagers. The hood is equipped with gas filter and particle filter 210/310 class P3, and provides short-time protection against carbon monoxide and other toxic gases and par ticles that may be emitted in a fire. The SR 77 S is approved only for stationary storage.. The SR 77 M is approved also as portable escape hood. The hoods are vacuum-packed in aluminium bags. The hood is based on the Sundström SR 90 silicone half mask, medium/large (M/L), which is mounted in a hood made of chemicals-resistant material. The hood can be put on quickly and simply, without prior adjustment. The hood is available in one size which fits most adults and teenagers. The hood is equipped with gas filter 297 K1 and par ticle filter 210/310 lass P3. 19 Protective hood SR 345 H The SR 345 protective hood is designed for use together with the SR 90 and SR 100 half mask with filter or SR 307 compressed air attachment, or with the SR 90 irline. The hood provides protection against splashing and dripping of most substances, both liquid and solid. The hood is made of chemicals-resistant materials and can be used in any situation in which the half mask can be employed. The hood is suitable as protection against most acids and solvents in relatively low concentrations. However, the material may be affected by extended contact with cer tain solvents in liquid form. The hood is extra roomy, so that both a safety helmet and ear protectors can be worn under the hood, if necessar y. The hood extends over the user s shoulders, back and chest. 20 Protective hood SR 64 H The SR 64 protective hood is designed for use together with Sundström half masks with filter or the SR 307 compressed air attachment, or with the SR 90 irline. The hood provides protection against dust and particles, and against a minor amount of splashing and dripping. The SR 64 is made of non-woven material (Tyvec) and can be used in any situation in which a half mask can be employed. However, the hood does not provide protection against toxic, aggressive or irritating vapours or aerosols. The hood is intended for short-time use and is not suitable for cleaning.
