Therefore these devices are robust, compactly designed and safe and easy to handle. The filtering escape devices are designed for a minimum of 15 minutes of escape time and approved to the only standard world-wide for industrial escape devices (DIN ). 3 Dräger PARAT Escape Hoods Dräger PARAT Escape hoods were developed in cooperation with users always with the focus on the fastest escape. Optimized operation and wearing comfort, a robust housing and tested filters guarantee that the wearer of the Dräger PARAT is protected from toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapours and particles for at least 15 minutes. D READY FOR ESCAPE IN ONLY 3 STEPS Exceptionally innovative and intuitive: When opening the packaging, the filter plug is automatically released from the filter. The filter is then deployed into operational position and the hood can be immediately donned. Thanks to the self-adjusting internal head harness, no additional adjustment is required. All you have to do is: open the packaging, remove and don the hood and leave the danger zone. ROBUST AND ERGONOMIC We at Dräger know: Escape hoods and comparable equipment are usually carried in a closed state and rarely opened only in situations of danger. That is why both, ergonomics and carrying comfort were considered when designing the packaging of the Dräger PARAT. When on duty, the user can carry the escape hood on a belt or a shoulder strap, a grip clip or a belt clip. The PARAT Hard Case can also be mounted on the wall using a wallholder. Additionally, the robust packaging of the Dräger PARAT protects the escape device from damage. You can select between two packaging types: The Hard Case provides splash water protection (IP54) the Soft Pack provides dust protection (IP5). Both packagings have windows to check the filter expiration date and the condition of the device. RELIABLE PROTECTION The escape hoods are equipped with high-performance filters. The filters reliably protect from a wide range of toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapours and particles. Particularly convenient: The security seal on the packaging shows if the unit has been opened. In addition, the filter is tightly sealed with two filter plugs. 16 YEARS TOTAL SERVICE LIFE Replacing the filter after 8 years will extend the service life of the Dräger PARAT Escape Hood to 16 years in total. D PERFORMANCE IN ALL PROTECTION CLASSES The Dräger X-plore 1700 series offers effective protection against fine dust as well as solid and liquid particles in the workplace, e.g. in general industry, mining and services. The models of the series are available in all three protection classes FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 according to EN 149:2001+A1:2009 and SANS 50149:2003 COOLSAFE+ TM FILTER MATERIAL The CoolSAFE+ TM filter material ensures highest breathing comfort by reducing the breathing resistance to a minimum. This enables you to breathe easily and comfortably over longer periods of time. At the same time, the material features an excellent filter performance that effectively stops coarse and fine particles. EASE OF USE Dräger X-plore 1700 is easy to handle. The VarioFLEX TM harness is simple to put on and remove, and sits without any pressure. GREATER COMFORT Safety engineers around the world have confirmed: if respiratory protection is not comfortable to wear and easy to operate, it does not get used. VarioFLEX TM head harness This harness is simple to put on and remove, and sits comfortably without any pressure: The head harness consists of a continuous, permanently elastic and stable textile strap. It is used to hold the mask softly and effectively on the head. The tear-proof harness can be adjusted to fit individual head sizes. Low breathing resistances are decisive when it comes to comfort. Additionally, low breathing resistance leads to less exhaustion during longer work periods. Dräger X-plore 1700 minimizes breathing resistances with the CoolSAFE+ TM filter material: In contrast to the maximum allowed breathing resistances of the valid standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009 the actual measured values of the Dräger masks are much lower. X-plore 1710 is approx. 87% below the limit for FFP1 masks, X-plore 1720 V approx. 82% below the limit for FFP2 masks and X-plore 1730 V approx. 68% below the limit for FFP3 masks. 13 Dräger X-plore 2100 Half Masks The Dräger X-plore 2100 is the reusable alternative to disposable dust masks. The Dräger X-plore 2100 is the ideal solution for people working frequently in dusty environments. Its replaceable filters provide protection against solid and liquid particles. This half mask offers the perfect combination of comfort, safety and cost-effectiveness. ST The Dräger X-plore 2100 achieves an excellent fit with leakage rates much below those of conventional disposable dust masks (FFPs). The filters with protection levels FMP2 and FMP3 are characterized by high filtration efficiency, and due to a large surface area low breathing resistance. This leads to long life time and overall cost savings. Donning and doffing the mask as well as filter replacement is quick and easy. The ergonomic non-slip head harness ensures a good fit, while the elastic straps with an integrated neck hook are easy to open and close, and allow precise adjustment of the mask. The mask can also be removed without the need to take off the safety helmet ( drop-down strap system). The exhalation valve is positioned low to ensure a dry and pleasant atmosphere inside the mask. Its low weight means it is hardly noticeable, making the mask extremely comfortable. Two high quality materials are available to choose from: EPDM or comfort-added silicone, especially good for sensitive skin. 17 Dräger X-plore 4700 Half Masks The Dräger X-plore 4700 is the robust half mask which offers excellent comfort and outstanding leak tightness for demanding applications. Thanks to the wide range of filters available for protection against gases, vapours and particles, it is ideally suited for use in a variety of industries. ST The combination of soft mask body, specially shaped nose seal and a sturdy plastic frame offers key advantages during long term use: a perfect fit on different face shapes and sizes, superior leak tightness, and virtually no pressure points. The ergonomic FlexiFit head harness makes the mask easy to don and doff without hair entanglement or unnecessary pressure. The mask can be removed simply by releasing the neck hook, without taking off the safety helmet ("drop down" strap system). The exhalation valve is positioned low and reliably removes moisture, maintaining a dry and pleasant atmosphere inside the mask.
