The transitter 2020TG with reote seal easures gauge pressure or level, the transitter 2020TA absolute pressure of aggressive / non-aggressive edia. It is based on a highly-stable sensor, on which a reote seal in flange design is fitted (directly or with capillary tube). The internal sensing diaphrag is slightly deflected corresponding to the pressure present at the reote seal and converted into an electrical signal by the electronics. The process-wetted parts of the reote seal can be selected fro different aterials such as stainless steel, Hastelloy C or tantalu and others, depending on the required resistance to corrosion. Various filling liquids, for exaple for the food and beverages industry, coplete the spectru of applications.
2 Description Principle of operation and construction The transitter has a odular design and consists of the gauge pressure/absolute pressure sensor odule on which a reote seal in flange design is fitted (directly or with capillary tube) with an integrated electronic atching unit and an aplifier with control unit. The applied process pressure (p e / p abs. ) is transferred via the reote seal diaphrag and the fill fluid to the easuring diaphrag of the pressure sensor. A inial deflection of the easuring diaphrag changes the output voltage of the pick-up syste. This output voltage, proportional to the pressure, is converted by the atching unit and the aplifier into an electrical signal. A low tie constant eans a lower resolution, but a shorter rise tie and thus a faster reaction tie of the transitter. The electronic housing can be rotated through 360 and can be fixed in any position. A stop prevents the housing beeing turned too far.
