2 March 2010 Page 2 of 5 Prestogen D 2000 Chemical nature Physical form Shelf life Mixture of salts of organic polyacids. Clear, yellowish liquid. Prestogen D 2000 can be kept in the original sealed containers at temperatures between 5 C (41 F) and 30 C (86 F) for at least 12 months. Partly used containers should be kept tightly closed and used up as soon as possible. Properties ph Approx. 3,0 Setting point Solubility Stability Approx. - 5º C Can be stirred into bleaching baths direct. Prestogen D 2000 is stable to electrolytes, and therefore it does not cream even in concentrated stock liquors. Action Prestogen D 2000 allows a silicate free bleaching of cotton and polyester/cotton with hydrogen peroxide, particularly in continuous processing. The product does not foam even at high processing speeds. The product property data merely provide an indication of how the product is to be used. They do not constitute the agreed quality of the product, nor are they the object of regular quality control tests. Application Recipes The recipes given below are for guidance only. Because of the many potential variations in practice, preliminary tests are strongly recommended. Handling the product properly and with the measures of precaution and hygienic protection needed for all work with chemicals, such as good ventilation / exhaustion from work and use of gloves and eye protection, and following the indications of our Safety Data Sheet can said that according to our experience and information we have, the Prestogen D 2000 does not cause any damage to health.
