2 4. First aid measures General Eyes Inhalation Skin Contact Ingestion Keep affected person away from heat, sparks and flames! Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Symptoms of poisoning may occur after several hours, therefore observe for 48 hrs after any accident. Contact lenses should be removed. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for several minutes holding the eye lids apart, seek medical advice. Remove to fresh air, keep warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped give artificial respiration. Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious place in the recovery position and seek medical advice. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use a proprietary skin cleaner. If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention. Keep at rest. Do not induce vomiting. 5. Firefighting measures Extinguishing media Not to be used SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO FIRE FIGHTING PERSONNEL Carbon dioxide, Dry powder, Sand, Foam. Larger fires should be attacked with water spray or alcohol resistant foam. Water with full jet. Fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous products of combustion (see section 10). Decomposition products may be a hazard to health. Appropriate self-contained breathing apparatus may be required. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.
