3 5885 Pressure/Vacuum Vent Product Features NPT Thread. Three separate valves to control vapor overpressure and vacuum conditions that arise in storage tanks. Vacuum valve is diaphragm operated and provides (10) times more sealing force than gravity devices. Opens at -8 W.C. Pressure valve is diaphragm operated and provides (10) times more sealing force than gravity devices. Opens at 3 W.C. Overpressure valve designed to handle high pressure/flow conditions. 11 Husky Factory Test Equipment/Procedures Quality Control Method All valves are 100% factory tested prior to shipment. All valves are assembled and tested per Husky Quality Document AS-PV. All valves that do not meet specification are documented per CNF-001 (First Pass Yield Sheet). Historical record is kept tracking the FPY (First Pass Yield) of the product. 11

12 Husky Factory Test Equipment/Procedures Factory Test Equipment All valves are 100% leak and crack tested prior to final assembly. Right Test Panel tests valve for pressure and vacuum leak rates. Left Test Panel tests valve for cracking pressure and vacuum. Sequence of test is from right to left (leak and then crack testing). See next slide for work instructions page and equipment. 12

13 Factory Test Equipment/Sequence 1. Pressure Leak 2 W.C. Verify that leak rate is less than.05 cfh. 2. Vacuum Leak -4 W.C. Verify that leak rate is less than.21 cfh. 3. Vacuum Crack cfh (200 cc/min). Verify that valve cracks between 6-10 W.C. 4. Pressure Crack cfh (120 cc/min). Verify that valve cracks between W.C. Verify that maximum crack value is between W.C. (Love Controls 10 W.C. Digital Manometer). 5. Passing product is then assembled with outer screens, labels and top/bottom deflector. 13
