3 1. Environment protection series a) 15ppm Oily Water Separator for Marine or Offshore (15ppm Bilge Separator) Patent NO. ZL YWC Series 15ppm Oily Water Separator is a kind of environment protection equipment designed according to IMO MEPC 107(49) standard, which requires the oil content in effluent water should be not more than15ppm. (IMO=International Maritime Organization and MEPC=Marine Environment Protection Committee) The equipment can effectively dispose all kinds of fluid in bilge water including fuel oil, high-density residual oil, emulsion mixture combined with black ferric oxide and surfactant. We offer 9 types of YWC 15ppm Bilge Separators, with the capacity from 0.25m3/h to 5.00 m3/h. The smallest type is YWC-0.25 which can be installed on ship less than 1000DWT and the biggest type is YWC-5.00 which can be installed on ship more than 300 thousand DWT. This separator can also be used port, mining and petroleum industry, besides in ship vessels. All separators got Type Approval of CCS and IMO circular in July 2007 and EC-MED (GL) in Dec, We can also design and produce the special type of Oily Water Separator according to the demands of our customers. 4 CCS=China Classification Society; MED=Marine Environment Directive of European DWT=Dead Weight Tonnage b) SWCM Sewage Treatment Plant for Marine and Offshore This plant is applicable to treat the sewage, which means human body wastes and the wastes from the toilets on vessels (so called black water ), to meet the effluent standards of IMO MEPC.159(55) before discharging the effluent to overboard. It is also applicable to treat galley & shower drainage (so called grey water on condition that the grey water are pretreated and should select a bigger capacity model to match with. Marine Sewage Treatment Plant belongs to the key devices for prevention of pollution from ships in seas and oceans according to the revised Annex IV of the International Convention of the Prevention of Pollution (MARPOL 73/78). The MEPC.2 (VI) resolution adopted on 3 December 1976 is the present guidelines on implementation of effluent standards and performance tests for Sewage Treatment Plant, which is called old standards. This device is designed and manufactured according to the MEPC.159 (55) resolution enacted on 13 October 2006, which is called new standards. The convention (MARPOL 73/78) requires that all sewage treatment plants installed on board on or after 1 January 2010 must meet the MEPC.159 (55) resolution. Summary of all the rules and effluent standards as followings: The SWCM type marine sewage treatment plant uses activated sludge, contact oxidizing and principle of biologic membrane to dig the organic pollutant, which can treat sewage effectively and reach the IMO new effluent standard or other even more strict requirements. The device is patented with independent innovation intellectual property
