Time flies and quite honestly, Sepp and I had no idea where Nitro would be 30 years later when we started working on the first product line in 1989 and finally founded the brand in We were just stoked that snowboarding had already come this far at that point and we d actually be running our own snowboard company. Being able to dream up whatever board you wanted and actually seeing it come alive was the biggest thrill and still is to this day. It may sound pathetic, but I still get stoked seeing someone using one of our products. The fact that this person has spent their hard-earned money on a piece of equipment we have designed and produced is humbling and makes me proud of our team. 2 Nitro Snowboards We take this responsibility quite seriously and will continue to do what we did with the past 30 product lines: Turn our dreams into reality and make sure that our customers experience the same joy and excitement riding as we had designing and testing. Two snowboarders who were interested in progressing their passion for being in the mountains, by creating their own products and technologies to make snowboarding more accessible for everyone.

We take pride in supporting the retailers, community, and structure that has gotten snowboarding to where it is today, by not selling direct online. We believe it is important to share the profits with every level of the snowboard community from Local Distributions, Reps, Retailers, Shop kids, and Team Riders - these are the key people building and sustaining our local snowboard communities. We believe this helps support the local snowboard communities to continue to thrive and get more young rippers out on the mountain, and to keep the snowboard legacy strong and bright for decades to come. Snowboarding is a multilevel community and we do our best to support these micro and macro communities though our kid s camps, Run To The Hills Events, team riders, supporting snowboard media, snowboard enthusiasts, to snowboard park sponsorships, and grassroots level sponsorships. WHAT KEEPS US HERE The search for new ideas, the hunt for the best product, the perfect ride, accelerating the endless patch of progression, being creative and moving fast, chasing the next evolution, living the uncertain adventure of the snowboarding industry. Being part of a community that shares the same rage of enthusiasm and supportive nature is one of the most inspiring reasons to continue for another 30 years - we are all in this together! BEST PRODUCTS We are constantly working on making products that make it easier, more fun, affordable and enjoyable to go snowboarding, while focusing on progressing the technology and design to help the progression of snowboarding our team riders and employees demand. When you snowboard you have the freedom to go anywhere and we use this same mindset while searching for new technologies, creative designs, artwork, and developing our products. ACT LIKE A FAMILY Since day one, Nitro has been run like a family. Everyone of the 16 employees has equal opportunity to give their input and transparency is something we take pride in. Everyone is in this for the same reason - snowboarding. Trust and loyalty are key components to why Nitro is able to stay true to its core values of running the business like a family. We strive to treat our team riders, distributions, reps, retailers, and snowboarders with respect, loyalty and trust, because we believe snowboarding is built on friendships made on and off the mountain through a mutual respect for our local and global communities. Team riders are some of the most important members of the Nitro family because these are the guys and girls who help us progress product, content, events, and initiatives in the right and relevant direction, which allows us to stay authentic and engaged in the everevolving world of snowboarding. MAKE CONSCIOUS DECISIONS We know that the community and environment is what allows us and our fellow snowboarders to enjoy deep pow days, early morning groomers, and lift rides or split tracks any day of the week, so we consciously question ever process to see how we can improve a sustainable future for the snowboard community. We know that building our products create pollution to our environment, so we continuously work to reduce and off-set these effects. This philosophy does not only apply to our eco-initiative, but also to the business side - we are always looking for ways to strengthen the current snowboard retail and community landscape to make sure future generations will have the same passionate people involved in their snowboard scene as we did. ENCOURAGE PEOPLE Everything we do from product to content should motivate people to break out of their daily routines and go snowboarding. Through fun and userfriendly products, creative designs, authentic interactions, inspiring content, constant searching for the next ground breaking technology, and showcasing how fun and inclusive snowboarding is we are committed to get as many people doing turns as possible.

6 NITRO SNOWBOARDS DEALER MARKETING SUPPORT 6 Dealer Marketing Support INFOCUS PRODUCTS Our goal is to support the snowboard retail community the best we can. One way we re doing this is by releasing a weekly InFocus message containing relevant snowboarding content along with assets to help support our key product stories, upcoming events, movies, and projects. This InFocus communication will support our retailers with the tools and assets they need to motivate their local community and tell the correct stories about the products they have in store. With a snowboard product line and team as wide and deep as ours, we have realised that it is important to work closely with our fellow snowboarder enthusiasts, the shops, to let them know what key products, technologies, events, and stories we will be promoting during the season. This season we will be communicating and focusing on creating stories around the snowboards that help inspire people to go snowboarding, that are team inspired, and that motivate people to push their own limits or just try a new style of snowboarding. QUIVER SERIES Bryan Fox and Austin Smith continue to create and expand the fun shape collection with an inspirational purpose together with OG shaper Thomas Delago. BEAST Designed to motivate progression by, Kleveland, Ettala, Thorgren, and Bergrem, the world s best freestyle snowboarders. MTN X GRIFF TAll-mountain enthusiast Griffin Seibert is bringing back the All-Mountain snowboard movement and we are 100% behind him. TEAM EXPOSURE The base says it all. This board is a tribute to our upcoming team movie and all those people out there who break free from their daily routines and go snowboarding. FATE We want to continue to motivate as many women as possible to go snowboarding through authentic stories, team riders, and products. We make content and product for women who snowboard. KID S SQUASH Finally! A fun, modern shapes also for kids! Our goal is to get more kids to the mountain, and more importantly we want to teach them the joys of turning and floating in pow! TEAM PRO BINDINGS The team asked for it and we built it. This will be the binding most of the team will be riding this season, so expect to see this all over the mountain in real life and through your phone. WMNS IVY BINDINGS The Ivy has become a staple in the women s binding world, so we will be working with our team riders to create projects that help motivate more women to experience the Ivy comfort and enjoy longer days on the mountain. CAPITAL TLS BOOTS After our team trip to Lofoten, Norway last season while filming for our new movie, the team riders and our development team demanded a new high-end versatile boot that was equipped for long distance summits and hold its own in the big park. This will be the go-to boot for most of the team from Marcus Kleveland to TM Splitboarding enthusiast Knut Eliassen. NEW WOMEN S BIANCA TLS BOOTS When the women on the team ask for a more comfortable boot, we listened because we know they are the ones out there standing in the snow day after day no matter the temps searching for the next hit, slash, or line. We have packed all of our R&D resources and technologies into this new boot to help women stay out longer and be more comfortable. INFOCUS MEN & WOMEN TECHNOLOGIES Over the last 30 years we have created a lot of industry standards within the board, boot, and binding technologies, and we are proud to communicate our favorite features that help snowboarders of any skill level have a better day on the mountain. 7 COMMUNITY FOCUS The passion and commitment of the snowboard retailers has been and will be the backbone for our snowboard communities on a local and global scale. We are dedicated to work closely and openly with all of our retailers to help support their needs and communities. We hope that we will be able to inspire people to go snowboarding and support snowboard retailers around the world through our marketing initiatives; InFocus product assets, our social media platforms, collaborative partners (AUDI, Red Bull Mediahouse, SWISS Airlines), being present on the mountain during our Run To The Hills events, and through our Team Movies. Snowboarding is built on communities and retailers build and curate these communities - Nitro is here because of these communities so we are going to focus on supporting them this season. 30 YEARS OF NITRO SNOWBOARDS To celebrate this landmark in our history we will be creating and releasing heritage pieces to showcase and highlight our journey and ever growing passion for snowboarding from 1990 to the present day. We are proud of what we have accomplished and even more so honored that the snowboard community has allowed us to come so far. OFFLINE - A NITRO SNOWBOARD MOVIE We are more than stoked to announce that we will be making another fulllength snowboard movie. Showcasing the joy of snowboarding through our team riders authentic passion, with only one goal in mind - to motivate the viewers to instantly go snowboarding, plus have a lot of fun together while making the movie. Set to be released Fall 2019 the movie will be built on adventures, friendships, progression, laughs, good times, powder, streets, groomers, slushy parks, guys, girls, young, old, bails and relatable snowboarding. RUN TO THE HILLS - TURNING & BURNING EVENTS Our goal is to get more people to escape their daily lives and up on the mountain to do something worth remembering. This year the Run To The Hills movement is teaming up with our Carver Crüe product initiative which means we will be organizing, promoting, and hosting a new grassroots style carving event worldwide. This is worldwide event is only possible through the help of our 30+ distributions and their local retailers. In an effort to help support the local snowboard communities, we will be on the mountain, creating videos, creating content, and spreading the good times of snowboarding through our social media channels all season long. The idea is simple get low and go fast! centre, snowboard dream station, and to the core motivator to get people to Run To The Hills - we are proud to be supporting Austin with this project and will be collaborating with his firetruck initiative for seasons to come. FREE OF RIGHTS PHOTO VIDEO CONTENT The Nitro free of rights photo and video library ( com) is our content portal where we have hundreds of photos, videos, and content for our retailers to use as they wish to help them promote their Nitro products, but more importantly inspire their local snowboard community to go snowboarding. PRODUCT VIDEOS In an effort to create a tool that helps our retailers on multiple levels we will be making a new season of in depth product videos of every hardgoods product. These videos will be posted online and also available for any retailer to use on their channels. The reason for these videos is simple to help strengthen the knowledge and help our retailers equip the right gear on their local snowboarders. QUIVER FIRETRUCK We are forever inspired by team rider Austin Smith, and this season he will be traveling the Western part of North America in his customized tiny home Firetruck. Austin and his Firetruck will be a traveling Quiver Demo

9 THANK YOU SNOWBOARDING We owe everything we have done in the past and what we plan on doing in the future to the community of snowboarders all around the globe. Snowboarding would be nothing without the passion and community created by all of the local snowboarders, shop owners, resorts, weekend warriors, and everyone who has ever dared to stand sideways. We have always and will continue to create events around the world that bring snowboarders together, because everyone knows its more fun to ride with friends. Creating events and content that bring snowboarders together either on the mountain or through your phone is a way for us to give back to snowboarding and everyone involved. Whether you want to join us this winter on the mountain at one of our Good Times Camps, learn tricks at one of our Nitro Sponsored Snowboard parks, or by just joining one of our online community we will try our best to keep motivating and contributing to the snowboard community. Join us this winter and make an effort to drop the boring day to day tasks and run to the hills to create memories that are worth remembering. In an effort to create a movement to get people up on the mountain and go snowboarding we will be hosting Run To The Hills events at local mountains around the globe to help bring the snowboard community together and rip some turns. Every event will be different, but the concept is the same - bring snowboarders together to ride, chill, good times and strengthen the community. Join us this winter for some good times on a mountain near you, and hopefully learn a new trick, make a new friend, spray a ski patrol, or try some new shapes!

A full length featured film that showcases the break snowboarding provides from today s fast pace reality. Together with our world-class Snowboard Team and other snowboard enthusiasts we will showcase the joy and freedom snowboarding provides no matter what the snow is like - through the classic Nitro Team Movie vibe full of adventures, comedy, amazing tricks, friendships, and motivating snowboarding. A snowboard movie that is interesting and inspiring to the core, the regular, and the nonsnowboarders. 16 NITRO SNOWBOARDS ISLAND STYLE WRITTEN/PHOTOS BY LORENZ HOLDER 16 Nitro Snowboards Island Style My name is Lorenz Holder and I m a snowboard photographer from Munich, Germany. Over the years, my job has allowed me to travel the world and experience a lot different countries with and without snow. Last September, I was asked to travel to Taiwan to see and experience what the term Made in Taiwan actually means, and where and how Nitro Snowboards are made. I was more than stoked to be able to travel to this country, because it s a bit uncommon for a snowboard photographer to go to a climate zone where you have rainforests and super warm temperatures. On the other hand, I was a bit skeptical, because I had never been to a manufacturing facility in Asia and with what you sometimes hear in the media, I was not sure what to expect. I received my plane ticket and the destination was Taichung-Ching Chuang Kang Airport. Wow! I ve never really heard a name like that before and I saw myself already flying into a city full of factories, dirty air and pollution, because Wikipedia informed me that this city is one of the biggest industrial areas in Taiwan. So there I was just landed in Taichung- Ching Chuang Kang. I was literally absorbing everything in from my car window view during the 30-minute drive to the hotel. I was really impressed the city looked more like an international metropole with nice boulevards, restaurants and theaters. Nothing like the stereotypical eastern manufacturing city I was expecting. Over the next few days this realization really manifested in my mind: Taiwan is a diverse and beautiful country! Why was I here again? Yes I wanted to see where and how Nitro Snowboards are made.

19 The next morning, Tommy and I drove to the factory which is located in the countryside about an hour outside of the city. The owner gave me a factory tour and Tommy explained the dozens of steps needed to produce a snowboard. I was impressed by how much manual work goes into each board and by the positive atmosphere in the factory. Quite amazing to see boards built while outside bananas are growing on the trees! Since Tommy had to get some work done with the various departments, I used the time to stroll around the buildings alone and explore with my camera I hadn t expected this was possible, but the management and workers had no objections and I was greeted with smiles everywhere. I spent two days in the factory and witnessed every step of how a snowboard is built: from the first wood selection to the final boxing and shipping. It was a cool thing to see Quivers, Teams and other boards in the making and how closely Tommy and his team interacts with managers and workers to make sure everything is built the right way. The second day of our stay ended in a big Moon Festival party, one of the bigger social events of the year. The factory provided free food and drinks for all employees and their families and all suppliers came to join the party. There was a huge Karaoke truck with PA and lighting equipment and the owner, managers and even Tommy had to perform a few songs for the workers. Lots of good Times and drinks that night! For the weekend, Tommy and I took the train to the east coast to see some more of the countryside. The ride was just breathtaking, since Taiwan has a big mountain range running from north to south with over 100 peaks above 3,000 m. We were also hoping to find surf and got lucky for the two days we spent there. How cool is that developing new snowboards during the week and going for a couple of surf sessions on the weekend So if you ever get the chance to go to Taiwan, do it without any hesitation. And note to myself: Get rid of your stereotypes! - Lorenz Holder

21 For the last 30 years, Nitro has been pushing the boundaries of snowboard shapes. From the swallow-tailed RETRO, the introduction of the first asymmetrical twin, the PYRO, asym raceboards, twintipped longboards like the DIABLO and the first splitboards in the early 90 s, we have always been an ambassador of innovative and functional board shapes. Swallowtails have always been a part of our interpretation of snowboarding s surfinspired heritage and still are a part of the line today, in the highly progressive QUIVER SERIES. However, we have and are doing more than just developing exotic shapes to innovate and progress snowboarding. Our vast experience with multiple radial sidecuts, from progressive to degressive, allows us to cater to different riding styles and levels. We spend a lot of time adjusting the sidecut of every model and every size to work optimally for the intended use and rider. The outline of a board does not defines its performance: It s the intricate correlations between shape, torsion and flex pattern that really make a snowboard work. We have developed specific thickness patterns such as the Reflex and Whiplash core profiles to give boards different flexing characteristics for specific styles and riders. Finally, we run each model and size through extensive lab and on-snow tests to make sure each individual board performs the way we designed and shaped it to. We maintain tight quality control to guarantee the performance of our boards on the snow. Three decades of R&D, testing, onhill experience, and making boards for some of the world s best men and women snowboarders over the last 30 years has give us the experience and expertise in board design to offer a wide variety of performance flavor in our 2019/20 board collection. We take pride in offering a board line-up that has the right board for every rider out there.

We have decided to cut the crap and keep snowboarding simple by simplifying our camber names and technologies to only those that work, and that are approved by our regional and global team riders, and friends. That is why we have chosen to offer the four camber profiles that really work, and we are not overcomplicating things by micro-slicing and renaming them Even though all of our camber profiles are adjusted to match the type of person or terrain the boards are designed for, but TRUE camber is camber, Gullwing is Gullwing, Flat-Out is Flat-Out, and Cam-Out is Cam-Out. Real camber technology that works and does not need a marketing scheme to prove it. running length TRÜE CAMBER TRÜE CAMBER is good old standard camber, which provides the stability, and pop many shreds can t live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. Our TRÜE CAMBER varies between board models because each board is specifically designed for a certain terrain or type of riding, for example the TRÜE CAMBER in our Pantera has a larger height for maximum response, while the TRÜE CAMBER in our freestyle boards are lower to provide you with a more freestyle friendly flex, without losing the support and trust you need for stomping landings. FLEX PROFILES The third component in a board s performance is flex. Softer boards are easier turning, stiffer ones better for higher speeds. And don t be fooled: Hand flexing a board in the shop may give you a first hint, but it takes a lot of experience to make a correct judgement of a board s performance by flexing it in the shop. At the same time, the TLS 5 features compact size and low weight while maintaining the reliability proven by tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Even though rarely needed, servicing and replacement of all parts including the lace is easier than with any other system on the market. POWER TONGUE STIFFENER For those looking for adjustable stiffness throughout the day or season, you can use our removable tongue stiffener to change between premium precision or more of a relaxed feel. From the steep and deep to the groomers you can customize your boot feel perfectly for your personal style. ILS (INTERNAL LACING SYSTEM) Our ILS system features a lacing harness firmly connected to the boot shell. This harness snugly wraps around the liner, securing it in the shell and providing precise lacing and fit. Our engineered ILS laces provide less friction and a Dyneema core for added strength. EVA OUTSOLE To reduce weight even more, we are using full EVA outsoles on selected models. While keeping weight low, the EVA also provides great impact absorption and thermal insulation. MOLDED TOE CAP Precision-molded to fit our last perfectly, our molded toe cap provides more toe space and protection from toe straps worn over the tip. EVA MIDSOLE Used on all boots with rubber outsoles, the EVA midsole reduce the overall weight and provides cushioning and thermal insulation. BAIL OUT SYSTEM Designed to make unlacing the TLS system even easier. This pull tab that is placed in the middle of the TLS lacing system on the outside of the boot allows for effortless unlacing and recording breaking speeds for taking your boots off. RUBBER IMPACT PANELS Selected EVA outsoles are reinforced with strategically placed rubber reinforcements for added resistance, traction, and durability. ORTHOLITE FOOTBEDS Together with OrthoLite, the World s Leading Supplier of Open-Cell Foam Insole Technology, we have developed footbeds in dual and triple density versions for different levels of support and comfort: OrthoLite compresses less than 5% with excellent levels of shock absorption and energy return. Fit and comfort inside the boot will remain consistent for the life of the OrthoLite product. The unique open cell structure of OrthoLite also creates a moisture management system inside the boot by moving moisture away from the foot leaving your feet drier. When the foot is removed from the shoe any remaining moisture dries very quickly due to the airflow allowed by the open cell network in the foam. OrthoLite contains a patented anti-microbial formulation to fight fungus, bacteria, and odor. The biocide is added during formulation so that it is linked to the foam and will not wear off or lose effectiveness over time. The Aegis anti-microbial treatment is EPA and FDA approved. OrthoLite is extremely lightweight providing optimum performance and without adding excess weight to the boot. OrthoLite is completely washable and will not hydrolyze. Just throw them in your washing machine and they come out like new.
