1 AUSTIN/LAKE TRAVIS, TEXAS THINGS TO KNOW CLIMATE The Lake Travis area experiences more than 300 days of sunny skies annually, so no matter when you visit, expect pleasant weather and mostly dry conditions. Although summers can get quite hot, with temperatures peaking in the mid-90s, lake breezes help temper extremes. Please note that severe drought has been known to affect the area, causing variations in lake levels and access. GETTING THERE You can fly into either Austin/Bergstrom International Airport, which is about one hour away from your residence, or San Antonio International Airport (SAT), which is about a 90-minute drive from your residence. Virtually all major airlines fly into both airports. GETTING AROUND You'll want to rent a car, as much of the charm of Texas Hill Country comes from exploring. Club partner Avis and your Destination Concierge are happy to assist. PARKING Your residence includes a three-car garage. CHECK IN/ARRIVAL PROCESS Your Destination Concierge will greet you at your residence, where you will check in and receive a quick tour. If you arrive after hours, you will be able to access the residence via lock box. Be sure to let your concierge know if you do plan to arrive late, so that you can receive instructions. 2 THINGS TO KNOW GROCERIES For just the cost of groceries, your Destination Concierge will be happy to fulfill your grocery order. Simply complete the order form on your Inspirato.com account at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. Additional shopping trips are $25 plus the cost of groceries. IN-RESIDENCE DINING OPTIONS A private chef can make a fantastic meal right in your own kitchen. Your Destination Concierge will be able to recommend the best chef for your tastes and needs. STAY FIT At the Lakecliff Racquet Club, you ll find a sprawling tennis facility with two clay and five hard courts. There is also a small fitness center located near the tennis courts. A larger, fully equipped fitness center can be found at the Barton Creek Lakeside Country Club, about a 15-minute drive away. The smooth roads surrounding your residence are great for a run, as well. HOUSEKEEPING Daily. TIPPING GUIDELINES While our Destination Concierge teams and housekeeping staff welcome and appreciate recognition for exceptional service, tipping is entirely up to you based on your level of satisfaction. If you would like to leave a gratuity, we suggest the following general guidelines: + Destination Concierge: $20-$50 per day depending on the level of service you experienced. + Housekeeping: $5-$7 per occupied room per evening is typical for luxury hospitality. + Restaurants: The customary 15-20% of your total bill is appropriate. + Vendors: Gratuity is dependent on the complexity of the experience or service, so we suggest using your discretion. 3 THINGS TO DO SPA Located about 30 minutes from your residence, the chic milk + honey spa provides a full slate of luxurious services. Enjoy a massage, facial, body treatment or other soothing services amid the spa s modern, minimalist space. Your Destination Concierge can also set up in-residence massages. GOLF + Lakecliff Country Club (located on-site) 18-hole course designed by Arnold Palmer featuring unique bent grass landscaping + Palmer Lakeside Golf Course (located five minutes away) storied, multi-award-winning course designed by Arnold Palmer; great for all golfers but emphasizes long drives and boasts striking native fauna throughout; part of Barton Creek Resort & Spa + Falconhead Golf Club (located 30 minutes away) the PGA Tour Design Center planned this 18-hole course to take advantage of its quintessential hill country scenery SPECIAL NOTE: The Lakecliff course is closed Monday and Tuesday, and the Palmer Lakeside course is closed on Monday. BEACHES + Pace Bend Park (located 25 minutes away) includes gently sloping sandy and gravel beaches on the shores of Lake Travis, making it easy for kids to access the water + Shore Club Volente Beach (located 40 minutes away) full-service water park on Lake Travis with a sandy beach area plus water slides and rides, kids pool, pool with a swim-up bar, two on-site restaurants, picnic facilities and more DESTINATION HIGHLIGHT Hamilton Pool Preserve is a magnet for visitors and locals alike. The scenic swimming hole is surrounded by foliage and ancient limestone cliffs, down which a cascading 50-foot waterfall pours into a pond where you can swim and splash. When you re not in the water, take some time to hike the park s trails and to look for the dozens of bird species that call the area home. DC s TIP: Arrive as early as possible to avoid a long wait line. Additionally, the pond is sometimes closed due to environmental reasons, so it s best to call ahead or ask your Destination Concierge before making the drive. FAMILY Kid-friendly Krause Springs is an ideal spot to visit for a day of getting fresh air. The 115-acre swath of land is home to 32 natural springs, many of which trickle into the man-made and natural swimming holes that are surrounded by huge natural trees. If the kids get tired of swimming, they can wander through the magical butterfly gardens to get a different taste of nature. Note that the park is closed for part of the winter. MUST-DO Don t just admire Lake Travis: Experience it firsthand. Rent a boat at Briarcliff Marina and spend the day fishing, swimming, kayaking and more. The full-service marina has everything you will need for a memorable and active day. SPECIAL NOTE: Due to varying drought-related water levels, motorized water sports are currently prohibited.

4 THINGS TO DO ROMANTIC Set on 80 acres of postcard-perfect rolling Texas hills, Flat Creek Estate produces some of the best wines in the state. Spend an afternoon at the charming estate touring the winemaking facility and learning about the grapes plucked from the on-site vineyards. It all leads up to the best part: a table for two at the on-site bistro for lunch and wine tasting. ADVENTURE Cypress Valley is a lush forest oasis in the middle of hill country and the best way to see it is from the top. Cypress Valley Canopy Tours lets you zoom through the treetops on a series of five zip lines (reaching heights up to 40 feet above the ground), two sky bridges and a rappel course. After the journey, cool off in the tour company s private lake or pool. NATURE Get in touch with some of hill country s best flora and fauna while horseback riding with Silver s Trails. Atop a gentle steed, you will navigate well-maintained trails that wind through the region s distinctive scenery. Enjoy river views and native vegetation. Keep an eye out for wildlife around every bend. LOCAL Explore deeply into hill country during a day trip to the historic town of Fredericksburg. Known for its fantastic shopping, dining and picturesque rolling hills, Fredericksburg is also the gateway to the booming Texas wine country. ROMANTIC Hudson s on the Bend (located 35 minutes away) Dining at this charming favorite is a full sensory experience.
