Players must play according to our schedule, you will not know which day and which block of time you will be scheduled until after the entries close. No refunds if you cannot make your block time. All players will receive an by Thursday evening with the day and block time of their match. Players need to show up 15 minutes early for their round robin. Scheduling Conflicts Request for times will not be taken, players need to play according to our schedule. Players will be scheduled to play on either Saturday or Sunday during a set block of hours. WE WILL NOT HAVE TIMES OR BE ABLE TO GIVE ESTIMATES UNTIL THE ENTRIES CLOSE AND WE HAVE SCHEDULE THE EVENTS. ALL OF THIS IS PREDICATED ON THE SIZE OF THE DRAWS. Withdrawing Prior to Entry Closing Date If entries have not yet closed, a player may withdraw or make changes to their entry by going to the tournament's USTA TennisLink Home Page - the page above. Once in the system, click on the "Register Now" text in red. When taken to the next page, click on "Withdraw" on the left hand side of the screen (blue panel). You will need your confirmation number from your original registration to withdraw. Because credit cards are not charged until the entry deadline closes, no refund needs to be made. Now you can re-register if you wish to change your event. If you cannot locate your confirmation number, you will need to contact linkteam@usta.com or the tournament director. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close or due to rain. Format of Play Players will compete in a Round Robin format. Depending on the number of entrants some groups may be scheduled to play on Saturday and others on Sunday. Total games won will determine the winner of each age group. Trophies & Misc. All winners and finalists (accumulative games won) in each age bracket will receive trophies. She died of a hear attack while watching her grandchildren play tennis at Morley Field in August In 1983 the Lina Vista Recreation Council dedicated their new addition to the Linda Vista Recreation Center and tennis courts in memory of Sophia Custado. They had nine children. Sophia Custado had a passion for tennis and all of her grandchildren were given lessons, many who are coaches themselves today such as Walter Redondo, the head professional coach at East County Community Tennis Association.
