5 NSCAA ACADEMIC AWARD The Washington women s soccer team received a Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for its combined academic performance in The award honored teams who had a minimum team grade point average of Washington was one of only 17 teams to earn the award each year from 1996 to 1998, the only school from the Pac-10. The Huskies were the only squad among the three-time recipients to compete in the NCAA Tournament during that span.
