2 Our year started in March with our presentation night, it proved to be a great success once again, and a special word of thanks to our special guest on the night Enda Lavelle. Award winners for the year 2012 were as follows; U10s: Mark Kearns, U11s: Daniel Howley, U12s: Lorcan Loftus, U13s; Fearghal Duffy, U14 Dr Loftus award for most promising player; Conor Rowland, U15 & Freddy Canavan Cup; Fergal Gill, U16; Keith Hopkins, U18s; Gerard Haran. Team Summary; 2013 U6s 2013 Crossmolina Deelrovers U6s & U8s. U6s Girls & Boys training commenced indoors in January, went outdoors in April and continued indoors from October. They took part in Go Games blitzes. There are great numbers attending the training sessions and well done to those of you parents who are staying on and helping out our coaches.

3 2013 U8s 2013 Crossmolina Deelrovers U8s U8 Boys, training commenced in April and ended in October. They took part in Go Games blitzes and also had several challenge games during the summer. We concluded with a blitz versus Breaffy for the Fergal O Boyle Memorial Cup, this inaugural event proved a great success and will become a permanent event in our Bord na nóg calender.

4 2013 U8 & U10 Girls 2013 Crossmolina Deelrovers U8 & U10 Girls For the first time in many years we had separate teams for our U8 and U10 girls. Training was held once a week from April to October and our girls partook in several challenge games both home and away. The year culminated with a match away to Belmullet and everyone was treated to some refreshments and some fun time in the Gateway. During the year the girls carried out some fundraising to purchase the set of jerseys they are wearing in the photograph above.

5 2013 U10s. U10 Boys; We played Ardagh Twice, Belmullet Twice, Ballintubber, Knockmore, Ballina, Balla, Ardaree, Achill, Lahardane Twice and also competed in the anual Knockmore tournament having 5 games on the day. In May the U10 team and coaches had a trip away to Galway to an adventure center and a game vs Ballintubber on the way home. It proved to be a great success. All our U10 squad received a football each, kindly sponsored by Martin Cosgrove of Cosgrove Electrical.

This ensures that all players are provided with plenty of football. 14 2013 U14s The U14 team had a year to remember. They had some heavy defeats in the Feile competition early in the year, but improved with every outing. They did well in the county league reaching the semi final stages. We were unlucky to loose out in a high scoring contest to the eventual league winners Ballintubber. The County Championship was next up and based on our good showing in the league we were in a division higher for the championship. We ended up winning one and loosing 2 games in the group stages. The final competition of the year was the North Mayo B Championship. We beat Erris St Pats in the semi final and were paired with Bonniconlon for the final. The final was played in Ballina and was a very entertaining game. Our young Deel-Rovers defended vigilantly and made the most of the scoring chances that presented themselves. 19 2013 U16s The U16 team competed in Division of the county league. This proved to test our resources to the limit. We won one game in the league but as the year progressed the tough games early on stood to the players. We were seeded in the B County Championship and progressed through the group stages. We had a home semi final against Swinford. All present that evening in St Tiernans Park will remember a titanic battle. Swinford looked to be out of sight, but with ten minutes to go Jordan Flynn blasted the ball to the net and our young Deelrovers powered through to the final. The County final pitted us against our neighbours Knockmore. On a great evening for the club in MacHale Park we captured only the 2 nd ever county championship title at U16 level. A great amount is due to the players and management. The highs of the county finalwin proved hard to match as Knockmore gained a measure of revenge by beating us in the North Mayo U16A Championship semi final Crossmolina Deelrovers U16 Team

23 U18s competed very well in Division 1 of the county league and made steady progress throughout the year.
