Hunt details Arrival and Meet You arrive in South Africa on (arrival date) with flight (airline and number). We will meet with you on Oliver Tambo International Airport at 17h00. We will depart to the hunting concession at (concession name) on (arrive date). The hunt will start on at (date), you will be hunting on a 2 x 1 basis. We return from the hunting concession on (date). We will take you to Oliver Tambo International Airport on (date) in time to depart on flight (Airline and number) departing at (time). Your full itinerary is set out in annexure III. Day rates The total amount due for day fees is $ (amount), of which a non-refundable amount of $ (amount) was received on (date). The balance of $(amount) is outstanding. Annexure I outlines what is included in the day fees. Trophy Prices All animals hunted, killed, wounded and lost, must be paid in full in cash before we leave the hunting concession. If the trophies are paid with traveller s cheques, 2.5% will be added to cover for the bank charges. All taxidermy fees must be paid directly to the taxidermy. Refer to annexure II for trophy prices. 1

2 Indemnity I declare that I fully understand the possible dangers of the activities that I will take part in. I fully accept the hunting rules of SA Hunting Experience. Annexure IV. I am an adult of sound body and mind and I do hereby, on behalf of my executers, my assignees, heirs, dependants and myself, indemnify and hold harmless the owners and staff of SA Hunting Experience and any and all of any associate companies, organisations or person(s) acting for, or on behalf of SA Hunting Experience, against any loss, damage, whether it is caused directly or indirectly by delays, sickness, injury, death, loss or damage to property, whether occurred through negligence or not, or any expense arising there from, which I may suffer while with SA Hunting Experience or while under its control or custody. I hereby acknowledge that I am aware of the fact that there are dangerous animals, birds, reptiles, insects and plants in the areas where I m about to visit and that the handling of firearms and related ammunition can be dangerous. I furthermore realise that the means of transport to and from such areas are equally dangerous, be it by air, road or water. My visit to the areas and my participation in the activities is entirely at my own free will and at my own risk. I agree to abide by the decision of the Professional Hunter to take down a trophy with his rifle, whether I shot at it or not, if in his discretion the animal holds a threat to human life, or to put an animal out of his misery that I shot. I agree to pay all costs in full, that are incurred, before termination of the hunt, which may arise from my Professional Hunter taking down these wounded or life threatening animals. I agree that SA Hunting Experience may use all photographs taken during the safari for promotion and/or publicity. Full credit will be given to the hunter. SA Hunting Experience will ensure that all the necessary permits are applied for and issued before your arrival. SA Hunting Experience will ensure that all local and national laws and bylaws are adhered too. SA Hunting Experience will not participate in any illegal activities or participate in any unethical activities. As members of PHASA we will honour their published code of ethics and ethical hunting practises. We guarantee that the trophy animals that appear on our pricelist are available on our concessions. We have hunting rights in writing on all the properties where we hunt. We will maintain our vehicles in good running condition, but cannot be held liable in case of mechanical breakdown. Cancellation It is agreed that if you cancel a trip the deposit will be forfeited. The deposit may however be utilized for another hunt, if that hunt takes place within 12 months of the original hunting dates booked by you. 3 Annexure I Pre hunt I shall stay in regular contact with you. I shall advise you on what is going on in RSA and answer questions from your side. I shall supply you with all the relevant documents to import rifles into RSA. This includes the application form with the SAPD instruction document and my suggestions and explanatory notes. I shall also make suggestions on the calibres suitable for hunting the species on your wish list, the amount of ammo and the packaging thereof. I shall also send you a packing list suggestion, what to bring and what not to bring, this information is also available on our website. Meet and greet at Johannesburg International Airport (JIA) In most cases I shall personally meet you at JIA. I am usually at the airport at least an hour before the arrival time of the flight, to check where you will get the best exchange rates and to familiarise myself with possible changes that can have an effect on your speedy transit through customs and the SAPS firearms import process. I shall be available on my cell phone at all times. If you encounter any problems you can contact me. After arrival we supply All road transport in RSA from Johannesburg International Airport to the hunting concessions and back and all transport on the hunting concessions. Land Cruiser hunting vehicle fully equipped with hunting frame, seats on the back, gun racks (4), water tank, cooler box, spot lights (for sightseeing in the dark), winch, ropes and driver. All your accommodation while hunting. All meals, cold drinks, fruit juices and moderate alcoholic beverages while hunting. All towels, anti-mosquito spray, Baiticol insect repellent and sunscreen. Daily laundry service. Personnel to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Ph s, skinners and trackers. Trophies included in the Package Included in your package are: 1 x Blue Wildebeest 2 x Impalas 2 X Warthog After the hunt I shall personally drop you at the JIA and make sure you get on your flight hassle free. I shall accompany you to the departure hall and stay with you until you pass the weigh in point, after which I am not allowed to accompany you further. Taxidermy and Export We will hand in your trophies at the taxidermist. I shall hand in all the documentation they need to apply for the permit to Export wild animal trophies. The taxidermist and the freight company will stay in touch with you on the progress of your trophies and I shall also follow up on their progress. We cannot be held liable for any delays that occur at the taxidermist or the freight company. However we shall assist you in any queries regarding your trophies and will assist you in clearing any problems. Not included in the daily rates and the trophy fees The taxidermy costs. The export cost of the trophies. The cost of any PHASA medals the trophies qualify for. (It is your choice to apply for the medals or not, I shall however do all the administrative work for you.) Voluntary donation of $10 per animal hunted towards the PHASA Conservation fund. Any artefacts that you buy (I shall arrange for such artefacts to be exported with your trophies at no extra cost from my side). Tips and gratuities to the staff. Any transport by air. 3

4 What you must bring At least three sets of hunting clothes, preferably dark green or brown or camouflaged. Khaki colour clothing is not suitable for hunting, as it looks white in the bush. Camouflaged clothing is available in RSA at reasonable prices. Two pairs of well-worn in hunting shoes, in case one pair gets wet, a pair of sandals for use in the camp. At least three pairs of thick socks. A cap or preferably a wide brimmed hat. The African sun is very harsh, especially in the summer months. Light long sleeve clothing in the summer to keep the Mosquitoes away. We do not have a malaria threat at any of our concessions. A warm jacket for the winter evenings and on early winter morning drives. Personal toiletries, antiperspirant does not work very well in the bush, as the animals can smell you a lot easier. Try to get an odourless deodorant. Enough cash for gratuities towards the Ph s and the camp staff. Especially the camp staff appreciates old clothes, caps, cheap watches or sweets for their children on top of a monetary gratuity. Your camera, we shall also take photographs of all the trophies and of the trip. Your binoculars. Anything else you would like to bring along, try to keep it to the minimum, the more you bring the more you ve got to cart around. If you are also taking another trip before or after the hunt, your entire excess luggage can be safely stored at my house in Centurion. Good stories to share around the campfire, even a couple of tall stories can do the trick. For any prescribed medicine you must have the prescription from your doctor with you. If not you might be arrested for possession of drugs or drug trafficking. There is a complete list on our website. Gratuities I receive regular questions regarding gratuities. My view is that it is a personal gesture towards personnel that helped making your stay enjoyable; it is your prerogative to decide on gratuities. You are welcome to discuss it with me if you feel so. 4

Get boarding passes. 17h30 Enter the boarding area Other activities that can be done in the area: Visit to Mapungubwe (Day trip) $80-00 per person Mapungubwe forms part of a trans-frontier park between RSA, Botswana and Zimbabwe. An ancient group of people lived here during the Stone Age period. Various artifact were recovered on Mapungubwe hill. There are a museum where the history of Mapungubwe is displayed. Game drives can be done in the game park. Total of 4 hours driving time there and back. Limpopo Predator park $50-00 per person Lion of different ages can be seen in different enclosures. There is also interaction with small Lions available. There are a variety of other animals, Crocodiles, Tigers and Leopard. Two hours travel there and back. Once we have hunted all the animals on your wish list we can consider doing the above one day trips. A day will be needed for both side trips. 7

8 Annexure IV Hunting Rules These hunting rules are primarily to ensure your safety and that your hunt is legal at all times. You may not be on your own in the hunting area, there are dangerous animals on the hunting area. Hunting may only done a half an hour before sunrise to a half an hour after sunset. We prefer to stop hunting a half an hour before sunset, if an animal is wounded there is a big chance that we might not recover it and predators might destroy your trophy. When hunting you must at all times be accompanied by a professional hunter. Please ensure that you are 100% sure that you are on the same target as the professional hunter, if you shoot the wrong animal, you will still be responsible for the trophy fee. Please ensure that there are no other animals behind the animal that you intend to shoot, if a second animal are shot, killed or wounded and lost, you will be responsible for the trophy fee. Please follow the instructions of the professional hunter, he/she is there to ensure your hunt will be enjoyable. No alcohol consumption is allowed while hunting. The professional hunter will have the final say whether an animal is wounded or not. No loaded rifle is allowed on any vehicle, everybody must declare their rifle safe before getting in or on any vehicle. Firearms must only be loaded when the professional hunter instruct you to do so. Before any hunting commences, your rifle or bow will be checked on the shooting range. All hunting will stop while we are following up on a wounded animal, this will not be applicable to bow hunting.a wounded animal can enter the area where you are hunting and it can endanger the lives of the follow up team. Only animals on the pricelist may be hunted. You may only shoot after the professional hunter instructed you to do so. No shooting into a herd is allowed. No alcoholic drinks may be given to the farm personnel. 8
