2 Plebiscito 2001Team is proud to launch the first edition of the Icehockey Tournament Città di Padova. The event, which will be held at the ice rink of Padova city, is addressed to the 10U category, namely players born in the years and girls born in OUR GOALS 2001Team Waves-Padova is the first youth icehockey team in town and, surrounded by a booming enthusiasm throughout its three years of life, it is determined to keep growing by learning from other european teams with a stronger background. Therefore the idea of promoting a tournament in the city of Padua, where kids from different nations can share the universal values of this wonderful sport. Our young Waves will have the opportunity to meet on home ice players from different hockey traditions. But it s not only about hockey. The event will take place at the multisports venue Plebiscito 2001Team and it s conceived as a great sports + culture weekend for both kids and parents, along with the teams staff, and as an opportunity to enjoy together the charm of the Veneto Region and its attractions. On saturday we will have the presentation of the tournament in the historic city of Padua and a chance to visit Venice in the afternoon. Saturday night a welcome dinner for all athletes will be held in Padua and sunday will be a day dedicated to sports: kids tournament and prizes and a mini tournament for parents while the children can enjoy the swimming pools of the Plebiscito facilities.

3 OUR TOURNAMENT RULES The tournament will take place on sunday april 25th 2015,starting from 10:30 with the first puck drop untill the awards ceremony at 14:30 on the same day. The tournament will be featuring the 8 teams that will deliver the application first, divided into two round robins of 4 teams each; each team must display a minimum of 12 players and two goalkeeper. Each game will have a duration of 18 with line changes on the fly, every 60 following the announcement whistle and with no stop time. The awards ceremony of all teams will take place on the ice, right after the final game; the playing area will be 1/3 of a regular ice rink with full size nets. The points system assignes 2 points for each win, 1 point for draw and 0 for loss; in case two or more teams end up with the same points, the ranking will be determined by head to head standings, goal difference, higher goal scoring and eventually coin flip. The first two teams of each round robin will play the semifinals and the finals in the play-off race, while third and fourth will compete in the play-out semifinals and finals, in order to have a complete final ranking; In case of tied games in the play-off/out phase, the winner will be determined by a series of five shootout and then on, untill sudden death. Any other matter not specified above, will refer to the IIHF rules.

6 REGISTRATION The application must be sent by ; the fee is 150 (one hundred and fifty euros) to be paid by bank transfer to 2001S.R.L. S.S.D at CASSA DI RISPARMIO DEL VENETO, Iban IT05 W E The fee includes sunday s lunch for all players, coaches and staff members. There will be medals, partecipation t-shirts and individual prizes as well as a competion between athletes parents Those teams who will choose to arrive on saturday the 25th will have to overnight in Padua on their own expences.
