COUPLE OF FOUR SPOTS DID THE TRICK: The Sea Dogs used two 4-run frames and a single run in the second, defeating the Binghamton Mets, 9-3 on Friday night at Hadlock Field Teddy Stankiewicz (3-7) earned his first win since June 19 th, hurling 6 innings on 5 hits and 3 runs Andrew Benintendi made his first professional start in LF and went 2-for-5, 2 RBI Nate Freiman and Cole Sturgeon each had 2 RBI. STICKING WITH THE FOUR-THEME: Benintendi, Mauricio Dubon, Freiman and Sturgeon all had 2-hit games last night, pacing Portland s 12-hit attack Dubon has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games: 20-for-53 (.377), 9 RBI, 3B, 4 2B, 2 BB Freiman is hitting.342 at Hadlock Field, including 31 of his last 36 RBI.
