Every checks, this include time controls (CH), passage controls (CP), starts of a regulaty sectors are indicated by standarized icons, approved by the FIA. The beginning of the check zone is indicated by a yellow panel at a distance of 25 meters from the check site, which is indicated by a red panel. Ending of the check zone (50 meters later) s indicated by a clear brown panel with stripes. Crews must present themselves at each check point in the proper order and in the same direction as the set itinerary The check points will open 15 minutes before the ideal time of passage of the first crew. They will close 30 minutes after the ideal time of passage of the last crew. Crews must follow all instructions from all officials in charge of a check point. 9.1 Passage Controls - CP Passage controls, secret or not, are designed to verify that the crews are following the scheduled route. The race stewards at these controls will merely stamp/sign the time card when it is presented to them, without indicating the time of passage. The lack of such visa for any checks point will result in a penalty. Tripy GPS on board of each vehicle take places of monitoring compliance with the permanent route. The organization can have permanent access to check (with same value as CP) 9.2 Time Controls - CH Time controls are open controls marking the limits of a regularity Test. Their purpose is to check that crews respect the average speed imposed for each regularity test. At these time controls, the race steward in charge notes the time of presentation on the crew s time card. Crews may await their ideal time out front in of the yellow sign indicating the entrance to the control zone. The ideal arrival time is determined by adding the time allocated for covering the liaison section to the departure/start time for that section. Crews run no risks of penalties for advance arrivals if the time at which the car enters the control zone corresponds to the ideal check-in time. Time Controls will close 30 after the theoric time of the last vehicle. FOR EXAMPLE: A crew that must arrive at a control at 18 h 58 min will be considered to be on time if it presents itself between 18 h 58 min 00 s and 18 h 58 min 59 s. Each minute's difference with respect to the ideal time of presentation will be penalized as follows: Late arrivals: 1 point per minute or fraction of a minute with a maximum of 30 points. Early arrivals: 2 point per minute or fraction of a minute with a maximum of 60 points. In this case, a time of 2 minutes will be allocated between the CH of end of link, and this starting CH of TSR. At the start of a regularity test, the commissaire in charge of this position will write the start time of the regularity test on the checkbook, which will correspond to the departure time for the next liaison area, then He will start the crew at the scheduled time. There will be no timing points on the first 600 meters. SRTs are sections on "open" roads, for non-private use, the greatest caution is recommended with regard to other potential users and in crossing villages. The maximum points awarded per arrival on a SRT is 120 points. The average speed imposed by the organizer may change several times on the same SRT, it will depend on the type and condition of the roads borrowed and the regulations in force. At the start of each SRT, the road-book will indicate to the competitors the maximum length of the sector. The finish lines will not be indicated on the road book. Each arrival not carried out will entail a fixed penalty of 120 points. In addition, losing time on one area in case of discomfort occasioned by another used car, or to double another competitor, or momentarily "planted" in the middle of the road, will be considered a "race fact" Resulting in no change in the times achieved by the competitor. In the event of an accident your liability may be incurred. 9.4 CH missed and conditions for remaining on course For all missed CH, competitors will be penalized with 120 points. If a driver does not complete an RT, he can still continue the rally, but will be penalized with 120 seconds for each RT not completed, as well as the CH start if he does not check-in there. If a crew interrupts their participation in the rally at any point, for whatever reason, they can rejoin the event later, taking all the penalties set forth in these rules and regulations, for each and every control missed (CH, CP, and RT arrival). To be allowed to rejoin the start of a stage, the competitors will have to present themselves at the starting line 30 prior to the ideal start time of the last competitor, and submit their log book and time card from the last completed check-in to the steward in charge of that post. They will be authorized to rejoin the rally if their vehicle still meets all required security standards set forth by the technical regulations. Failure to check in at the last CH of the rally, at the enclosed parking area, on Thursday, June 1, 2017, will incur a fixed penalty of 1000 points 9.5 Safety Road Tests on Circuits For SRTs on the circuit, wearing the helmet is compulsory. The means to be respected will be indicated according to the circuits selected. The Followers and Personal Assistances have PROHIBITED to hinder or block another competitor and to be behind the car of their crew during the Road Safety Tests, otherwise the crew will be disqualified. Assistance from Organization The organizer will provide the crews with an assistance service, consisting of 5 mechanics and 1 tray, which will intervene as possible. In the event of a breakdown on the course, the assistance of the organization may take up to 30 minutes on the vehicle. After this period, it will be proposed to the crew to be transported by tray to the nearest garage. ATTENTION: We draw your attention to the fact that the proposed assistance is a SERVICE, but should under no circumstances become your personal assistance and have your vehicle checked every night - This mechanical service is there to overcome a specific problem At the instant T. Our mechanics will have instructions on this subject. This assistance will also be available to competitors at lunchtime and in the evening at the stages. RétroTrip in mechnical device Terratrip The most common electronics (in photo Classic 202 of Oreca) VH Trip, BRANTZ, EASYTRIP, More sophisticated electronic devices are. Master the trip The calibration will be made before the beginning of the event, on at least 10km, on a national or a highway To follow the indications of distance accumulated on the road-book (rather than the partial)?case of regular gap, refine the calibration gradually, It is better than the trip indicates the more than the less, to announce notes early rather than late- Attention cuts it tires also matter for the calibration.
