1 Jackpot Goat Show Hosted by: Screven County Young Farmers & FFA Judge: TBA Check In: Friday Sept. 14, 2018, 4:30-6:00 pm & Saturday; Sept 15, 2018, 7:00-9:30 am Show Time: Saturday; Sept 15, 2018, following the conclusion of the Lamb Show Goat Rules 1. The show is open to 4-H and FFA members from all states. Any members who are between Pre-K and 12 grades are eligible to show. Only wethers and does allowed. NO BUCKS allowed. All animals will be shown as market animals and slick shorn. 2. Does and wethers will be shown in separate classes and all class winners will come back in for a overall Grand, Reserve, and Third overall. 3. Goats will be weighed and divided into classes by show officials. After the goat leaves the scales there will be no re-weighs. 4. Enter as many goats as you wish. There is no limit to # of animals you may enter. 5. Classes: Exhibitors must show their own goat in class. If the exhibitor has more than 1 goat in class they can have another exhibitor show for them. 6. Showmanship: Each exhibitor must show their own animal in showmanship. The animal must be entered in the show and owned by the exhibitor. Showmanship classes will be determined by the number and ages of exhibitors entered. 7. All goats must be dehorned or have horns tipped. 8. All goats must be ear tagged with the identification number entered on the entry form. Tag does not have to be an official state tag. 9. Entry Fee: This is a JACKPOT show. The entry per animal is $25. Money will be used for prize money after expenses are removed. Amount of prize money is based on entries. Late entries will result in an additional $10 late fee. Guaranteed payouts will be for the following: Top 3 individuals in class. This included showmanship and weight classes. Top 3 Individuals in show. (Grand, Reserve, 3 rd Overall) 10. Limited space and pens are available. Pens are available on a first come basis. Exhibitors have the right to choose to show off their trailers if they choose. Please provide your own power source if you choose this option. 11. Goats must have milk teeth. Goats showing evidence of any of their permanent incisors will not be allowed to show.

A certificate of Veterinary Inspection is required with the individual identification and the following statement: Flock of origin is free from Foot Rot, Scabies, Contagious Ecthyma(soremouth), Cutaneous Fungal Lesions, Scrapie or any other Infectious disease. 13. The Atlantic Coast Classic Show Committee reserves the right to review the rules and make changes if necessary. All decisions made by the Show Committee are final. 14. Exhibitors have the freedom to show the style of their choice. 15. Absolutely no refunds will be given. 16. There are no weight limits.
