You asked for them at our annual meeting, and your club has responded! New club jerseys will soon be available for purchase by club members. As you can see, Mark Cole from On Two Wheels (OTW) has created a striking design that I am sure you will want to wear. These are high quality jerseys that will be custom made in North America by Louis Garneau. If everything works as planned, our online store will be open by Friday May 6. A Fit Kit containing all sizes in each of the styles being offered will be available at On Two Wheels in Jackson beginning this Thursday, May 5. If the Fit Kit is available sooner, I will let you know by . Details on how you can own one of these fine jerseys are on the next page. Cascades Cycling Club 1

2 New Club Jerseys - Here s The Deal 1. Jerseys can only be purchased through our online store. Men s and women s styles will be available in both Performance and Club Fit. The price you see in the store is the price you pay. The club will bear the cost of bulk shipping of our order to Jackson. 2. I will send you the link when the store is open for business. 3. Since the club is subsidizing the costs, members in good standing may pick one jersey apiece. That means 2 jerseys for member couples, and up to 4 jerseys per member families. If you order more items than this limit, you will need to reimburse the club for our wholesale cost before picking up your jerseys. 4. Like any online store, you will pay for your order online. 5. To ensure you select the correct size, you can try on sample jerseys in the style you prefer. The Fit Kit will be available at On Two Wheels in Jackson from Thursday, May 5 through Saturday, May The online store will close Wednesday, May 18. We may close the store early in order to limit the total cost to the club, so place your order early. 7. Jerseys will be available in approximately 5 weeks, just in time for summer riding! 3 More Club News.. Mick Webster s Ride June 25 is the date for the 8th Annual Mick Webster Memorial Family Bicycle Tour. Those of you who have ridden this ride know how well supported it is, and that all proceeds go to Relay for Life. See page 5 for details - then print that page and use it to register for this great ride. Spring Rides are on The Calendar! Rides are now posted for May on the Cascades Cycling Club s Google ride calendar. In addition, all rides this year will only be published on our Google calendar. You can find the club s Ride Calendar by clicking on the Calendar tab on the Cascades Cycling Club s website at We also have a mobile website, which means you can access the club s Google ride calendar from your smartphone or tablet device. This ride just keeps getting bigger and better every year, with nearly 250 riders last year. Register now for the ride that is rapidly becoming a classic summer ride. See page 4 for details then sign up for this ride today! What s Happening! Carnegie Bike Rally Saturday May 14 It s back! The Carnegie Bike Rally is a fun event for kids and families and anyone interested in bicycling.
