Black Sea 2016 is expected to provide opportunity for exchange of knowledge and ideas between researchers from different scientific areas and from different countries in Europe, as well as meeting people of science with people from industry and shipping. It is a happy coincidence that in October 2016, the Bulgarian Ship Hydrodynamics Centre ( BSHC) will celebrate 40 years of its foundation. Throughout the years, BSHC developed in a world famous high-quality facility of excellence in the field of ship hydrodynamics. That was result of the joint efforts of many national and international bodies, institutions and professionals in this important sector of maritime industry, and we would be glad to meet all of them again at the special Jubilee Session. Procedure for Attending the Conference Everyone interested in the fields mentioned above can take part in the Conference. Abstracts of up to 150 words are invited before April 25 th, 2016, is advisable. Participation fee 180 EURO regular attendance, which includes Proceedings, Coffee and Conference Cocktail. 90 EURO reduced rate for students, post graduate and PhD students Late payments after July 18 th, 2016 shall be charged with extra 10%. Participants wishing to receive an invoice should check the relevant item in the Application Form. Sponsoring opportunity Selected materials and papers dedicated to the BSHC Jubilee will be published in a special Jubilee Session Volume. Commercial one-page spread is also envisaged and BSHC is asking for your contribution by boasting up your Company profile, products and services. 6 AUTHORS INSTRUCTIONS Papers must be written in English using MS Word version 6.0 or higher. The Conference Proceedings will be prepared from camera-ready manuscripts, including halftone black & white photos (some pictures and graphics may be in color, but they will appear in color only in the electronic version). There will be no opportunity for corrections after submission. The responsibility for the appearance of the paper and all the costs for the preparation of manuscripts remain with the author. Papers must be submitted both as camera-ready copy and in electronic format. Print out in black on A4 sheets (one side only). Paper Layout Front matter: The title of the manuscript should be concise and relevant to the contents of the work. It must be followed by the names of the authors with a corresponding author specified, their affiliations and addresses. The abstract, not exceeding 120 words should be self-contained (without footnotes and references) and include all important results of the article. A list of keywords must be added too. Length: It is not recommended the volume of the paper to exceed 12 pages. Margins: Left 20 mm; Right 20 mm; Top 20 mm; Bottom 20 mm. Add 60 mm to the top margin of the first (title) page for Conference logo and header. Typeface and Type size: Times New Roman 12 - for text; Times New Roman 12 - for chapter and paragraph; Times New Roman 14 - for title; Times New Roman 8 - for footnotes. Line spacing: Single Page numbering: Do not number pages. Please write down page numbers and author s name in blue pencil on the back of each sheet. Footnotes: Footnotes are designated by superscript numbers and are numbered in consecutive order. Equations: Number the equations in sequence from equation (1) to the end of the paper, including appendices, if any. Enclose the equation numbers in parentheses and place them flush with the right hand margin. Figures and tables: Tables should be typed in black on a white background. Type size should not be lesser than Times New Roman 8, preferably larger. The tables and figures should be embedded in the text and numbered consecutively. The size of the figures must be conformable to the information contained, and must be suitable for direct reproduction without significant rescaling. Lettering should be in proportion to the overall dimensions. Shaded areas should be filled in by hatching or crosshatching since fine dots are reproduced not so well. All figures, pictures, diagrams etc. should be referred to as Fig. 1, Fig. 2 etc. A minimum resolution of 300 dpi is required. Bibliographical references: References must be given at the end of the manuscript in the order of appearance in the text. When citing in the text, the reference number must be in square brackets. Each reference starts with the initials of the authors names, then cognomen, followed by the Journal in Italic (using the common abbreviations), volume number (in bold), first page of the article (or article number) and the year of publication (in parentheses). It is recommended to include ISSN and DOI. References to books must contain, in addition, the full title, Publisher, Editor and ISBN. The cited chapter, section or page should be pointed out. References on private communications are not acceptable.
