2 INTRODUCTION ONLINE Our brochure may be great but it s impossible to make changes and keep it updated throughout the season. So for up-to-minute information there are various ways to keep up and keep in touch online Our first season, back at Silverstone was fantastic from both a hospitality and racing perspective. In F1, Lewis Hamilton scored a superb victory in the early July sunshine at the British Grand Prix and in August we had the 2014 MotoGP World Champion; Marq Marquez storm to victory at the British MotoGP. Along with these crowd pleasers we had plenty of action from the BTCC and BSB. The Silverstone Classic in July was not only one of the hottest weekends of the year but also one of the best, beautifully presented classic cars as far as the eye can see and great side by side racing all the way. We set out in 2014 with the dream of providing high quality hospitality, stunning trackside locations and great value packages; a dream that I hope has been fulfilled for those of you that attended our events. Year two for any new business is always the hard one, I am conscious that you, our customers, have high expectations of how Twynhams Hospitality can help you to live your Motorsport dreams. With that in mind we intend to work even harder to make sure that we exceed those expectations, so here s a brief summary of what s in store for the coming year:- Silverstone - We have just added a second suite to our Woodcote Suites, giving us a capacity for 90 guests in total. This new suite, adjacent to our current one, adds a new dimension to our hospitality packages with our VIP Premium package which includes full hostess service, premium drinks and other exciting and exclusive offers. Monaco - The name says it all...glamour, excitement, history, noise, yachts and racing cars! We are highly privileged to have secured a selection of high quality locations for race viewing at the Monaco Grand Prix. 4 SILVERSTONE WOODCOTE SUITE Silverstone will once again be a major part of our 2015 portfolio. We have just added a second suite to our current location, giving us a capacity for 90 guests in total. This new suite, adjacent to our current one, will add a new dimension to our hospitality packages with a VIP Premium service including full waitress service, premium drinks and other exciting and exclusive offers. Our large Woodcote / Paddock hospitality suites are situated above the National Circuit pit lane entry and offer excellent facilities and viewing being just above the track as the F1 cars come through the Woodcote kink at 150mph and head down to Copse Corner. Our guests also have a complimentary seat in the private, covered Wellington Grandstand providing a great secondary viewing position. The grandstand is just past the Wellington Straight bridge and gives an expansive view of the cars and bikes at they enter Brooklands and make their way through Luffield and around Woodcote. The catering is simply outstanding, offering a fantastic choice of locally produced organic food selections, internationally flavoured and of excellent quality. 6 BRITISH MOTO GP SILVERSTONE 28 th -30 th AUGUST 2015 BRITISH MOTO GP FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY VIP PACKAGE PRICES 1 X GENERAL ENTRY PASS VIP Car park pass Wallet containing your itinerary, information, directions and tickets Newly crowned Champion Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda), along with Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) are all staying with their current teams in 2015, but there has been a reshuffling of the establishment elsewhere in the field. For the Ducati team, Andrea Iannone steps up to join Italian compatriot Andrea Dovizioso in the official factory team. Meanwhile, Suzuki and Aprilia join the fray to bolster the grid to five manufacturers. Aleix Espargaro and ex Moto3 World Champion Maverick Viñales will spearhead Suzuki s return. Looking to punch through into the lead group will be the Factory satellite riders, hoping to get the better of their factory team counterparts. Monster Yamaha Tech 3 retain their line-up of previous Moto2 title winner Pol Espargaro alongside Great Britain s Bradley Smith, with the duo having pushed each other on and been closely-matched across their first season as teammates. Popular Brit Scott Redding re-joins the Marc VDS Racing Team: the outfit with whom he challenged for the Moto2 World title in Redding will be tackling the 2015 MotoGP season on a Factory Honda. It s set to be a cracking year and an amazing British Moto GP. 9 BTCC CHAMPIONSHIP SILVERSTONE 27 th SEPTEMBER 2015 BTCC SUNDAY The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is a motor racing championship for production based touring car racing cars held across the UK. The championship features highly modified versions of family saloon cars and is one of the most popular domestic motor racing series in the World, with an extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece. Last season was one to remember, with 31 cars and 7 former champions taking part. There were many upsets and plenty of controversy as the title fight came down to two men: Colin Turkington and Jason Plato. After winning the duel for the title, reigning champion Turkington is expected to defend his crown against tough opposition that is sure to include many champions, and with 11 different race winners in 2014, expect even more action this year! 12 FEATURED ARTIST ULI EHRET German automotive artist Uli Ehret was born in 1965 in Weinheim - a town right in the middle of the automotive south of Germany. His father and grandfather loved sports - especially motorbike and car racing. Growing up near to the Hockenheim race track and the Zotzenbach hillclimb track was another push. Uli Ehret studied graphic and design at Mannheim University between 1986 and He worked in advertising during his early career, but never lost the motorsport bug. His hobby always was painting race cars. In 1998 he discovered the Le Mans 24 Hours event with a friend. This set the ball rolling. His first exhibition in 2005 during the 24 Hours race at Le Mans was a huge success. Over the last ten years, Ulis life slowly changed from being the head of his advertisement agency to professional motorsport artist today. Uli works for motorsport companies like Mercedes AMG, Porsche and Aston Martin. Other automotive companies like Gulf, Shell, Volkswagen and Continental Engineering also ask Uli to paint water colour originals and to produce individual reproductions for their needs. Motorsport idols like Adrian Newey, Tom Kristensen, Vic Elford, Hans Hermann, Kurt Ahrens, Rene Arnoux and Jackie Stewart own his originals. Many privateers and professional team members have commissioned Uli over recent years to create a memory in water colour displaying their latest restoration project, a race victory or even to sum up the entire race career. Uli s website showcases more than 500 car related paintings, plus other technic themed art works. Uli s art is impressionistic, catching a certain moment of race history - or a beautiful momento of sports car driving through the alps e.g. or a tuscany landscape. His stroke varies from being rough and nearly abstract - to other paintings, where he is more accurate and detailed. His most revered art are three paintings displayed here. The Auto Union Bergrennwagen in the pure and rough style. The Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512 battle at Le Mans shows his more detailed style. In between these two totally different styles you will find the painting of Jim Clark & Co. at the Nurburgring in This painting shows the historic perfection that Uli tries to create in his Racing Legends art works - plus the painting show a lot of dynamic movement and perfectly captures the emotions of motorsport.
